Excellent Villa Review Rating DetailsWe were very pleased with our stay at ABSL! We were a large group - 10 people including my parents, my sister's family and our family, including 3 young kids under 5. The property was beautiful and the accommodations more than met our needs. We stayed in the main villa which had 4 spacious bedrooms and one smaller single room (which is exactly what we required). The kitchen easily fit our entire group for dinner. We ate one meal at the restaurant downstairs and everyone felt that the meal was one of the culinary highlights of our 2 week trip to Italy. The grounds had a small playarea that was ideal for our young children, and a beautiful pool (it was a little too chilly in early October, but we took a couple of dips nonetheless!). The location of the Villa is ideal for short day trips to Tuscan villages such as Sienna, Volterra, San Gimignano or the Chianti District. Not hard to get to Pisa or Florence either. We would happily return.

Nice accomodation. We had two bedrooms with AC in both, a well furnished Kitchen and a large livingroom. Also we had enough space for our clothes (2 adults, 2 child's).
Outside was a terrace. Our boys loved the swimming pool. We have seen a lot lizards and also a roar deer family and nearly every night we have seen an badger. Great holidays.Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes

Excellent Villa Review Rating DetailsGreat experience. There was a change in our reservation, which was not known to us until we arrived. Instead of the Fico unit, we were given the Rosa Bianca unit. It is much larger and we only used half of it for our family of four, however, we enjoyed the extra space at no additional cost.
The staff are very nice and helpful, answering any questions and in general making it a very enjoyable experience.
The location is also excellent for visiting the many sights such as Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Florence and Pisa. Also convenient to Poggibonsi for groceries etc.
Highly recommend it.

Excellent Villa Review Rating DetailsMy wife, two teenaged children and I stayed for 9 days. The facilities were very comfortable, albeit on the rustic side. The location was ideal for touring Tuscany from a comfortably located home base. The owners were pleasant and welcoming but did not disturb or intrude on anybody's privacy. Value for the money spent was excellent. We did not try the restaurant on site although the menu looked wonderful. We preferred to cook for ourselves with food bought from the supermarket located in nearby Poggibonsi. Very convenient. If I was planning another tour of the same area, I would not hesitate to book it again.

Todo el proceso de reserva y contratacion fue muy agil y eficiente.
La propiedad era tal cual se la ve en las fotos de la pagina web. y cuando uno llega a ese lugar y lo ve en persona, realmente se emociuona. Se mezcla la historia, la antiguedad y lo moderno con perfecta armonia.
Las vistas son impactantes, y es lugar tiene una ubicacion estrategica ideal para hacer base y visitar desde alli la region de La Toscana, que es maravillosa.
Los ambientes son muy espaciosos y comodos. Las habitaciones son amplias y ventiladas. Los muebles antiguos, pero funcionales. Y los baños arreglados a nuevo, aunque a mi criterio les faltaria agarres para comodidad de presonas mayores o de movilidad reducida. Y cortinas para evitar mojar todo el baño.
La cocina es sumamente espaciosa para 10 personas.
El restaurante Bandini es muy bueno, si algun dia uno prefiere cenar o desayunar alli. Es muy bonito y de gran calidad.
La pileta es muy grande y es una buena opcion para luego de los paseos por la zona.

Schöne, ruhige Lage. Die einzelnen Einheiten sind so gelegen, dass man von den Nachbarn fast nichts mitbekommt. Der Pool ist ein Traum, der uns die täglichen 36 Grad erträglich gemacht hat. Von den Ameisen in der Küche darf man sich nicht abschrecken lassen, man iost ja am Land. Das Restaurant in der Anlage ist zu teuer und braucht nicht mehr als ein Mal besucht werden.

Excellent Villa Review Rating DetailsWe stayed in Cipresso for two nights. The property is lovely, well maintained and in a quiet, scenic location at the bottom of a valley. Reception was warm and staff very helpful. The kitchen was more than adequate for cooking, although we didn't use it much. Not every room had a window with an insect screen though, which I thought was essential as mosquitoes were pretty common in this part of the country in summer.
The coordinates given on the website are not entirely accurate, as our GPS led us to another property. Better to follow the road directions and look for Casa Bandini signs - these are, fortunately, quite prominently placed on the road. The locals in the surrounding areas are not very familiar with the name Antico Borgo San Lorenzo (we had to ask for directions a couple of times) but everyone we asked knew about Casa Bandini.
Overall, a lovely villa - I really wished we had more time there!Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes

Excellent Villa Review Rating DetailsThis property was fantastic. Not only is it incredibly nice, the rooms beautiful, the views stunning, the gardens and common areas clean. But the staff here were incredible helpful and eager to help us enjoy the area as best as we could. Jacopo gave us several tips for driving around to the local wineries as well as a map that helped us get un-lost several times. Everything about our stay here was perfect. And the food at the restaurant is amazing as well! We loved Poggibonsi, Colle di val d'Elsa and everything else about Tuscany. Highly recommended, will definitely come back if in the area.

Antico Borgo San Lorenzo has a great location, easy to get to Siena, Volterra, San Giminano, Chianti region and also Florence ( adviseable to take the train, since parking is a problem ). Easy to get around if you have a car, shopping is good , ther is a great supermarket called PAM ! WE found a great restaurant called Il Casato about 4 KM on the way to Siena , owner recommended it , great food and service is also good.
On the property itself ( Alloro ) not bad, a bit dark and at the end of all the other apartments, it is close to the BBQ place , but nobody used it. The restaurant is nice ,but book in advance if you want to seat outside , menu is small but good.
One thing we did not like is , they give you one roll of toilet paper and that's it , you have to buy you one. We did not like that you have to pay for the internet and also for the washing , really for this prices it should be free.WIFI access only at one section of the property , which a section of the outdoor area of the restaurant and the samll cafe ! The pool is nice , but needs some repair work, our son fell on the tiles and had a deep cut , so some tile work to be done there especially the side facing up to the walkway towards the restaurant, the lining of the pool in one corner needs also to be taken care off.The owners and people there are helpful and nice.Location , location........ the best !
