The owner, an Italian decorator, restored the original stone-built house with great care, enhancing the country character with color washed walls and decorations throughout, creating in each room its own atmosphere. The interiors have been furnished in a comfortable fresh country style, favoring minimalism in order to bring out the authenticity of Tuscan materials such as cotto floors and beamed ceiling, which have been perfectly preserved. At same time the interiors have been equipped with modern comforts such as Satellite home-surrounding televisions, mosquito nets and a Jacuzzi bath, which complement the picture of a fully enjoyable holiday.

Damiano is a lovely farmhouse situated high in the hills between Lucca and the Versilian coast. It is one of our most popular houses and for many years, clients have enjoyed the beauty of the house itself, its very well kept garden with a nicely furnished veranda for outdoor meals, along with the very welcoming staff, that looks after the property with great care. The house was restored giving special attention to Tuscan tradition, retaining the original beamed ceilings and using only antique cotto floor tiles. At the same time, it is very well equipped with all modern comforts, including internet connection. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The location of the property, surrounded by olive groves, is both tranquil and beautiful with magnificent views. Despite its private and quiet position, it is only a 15-minute drive to the centre of the historic town of Lucca and 25 minutes to the coast and beaches. Damiano has been totally re-decorated during winter 2013.

Set in the hills South-East of Lucca, Al Fanucchi is an ideal retreat for family summer vacations. A panoramic terrace in front of the house was planned to be an outdoor living area during the day and an inviting spot for al fresco eating in the evening. At the back of the house, on a slightly higher level, a 13x6 swimming pool was installed in the lawned garden. The structure of the house develops on three different floors allowing two families to holiday together while retaining their separate spaces. The centre of Lucca and the main Tuscan attractions are all easily reachable thanks to the convenient location of the villa. For any assistance required guests can address the helpful owners who live on the same estate. They share the entrance gate and parking area with the guests of Al Fanucchi but in no way interfere with their privacy.

Villa Carolina is a wonderful 3 bedroom-3 bathroom villa situated in the centre of Tuscany in the beautiful wine region between Florence and Siena, just 1 km from the tiny historic hamlet of Linari and 8 km from San Gimignano.
It is a great location from which you can explore the area;
the nearest local town of Poggibonsi with an excellent selection of shops, restaurants and supermarkets is just 2 km away and it’s a joy to wander through the pretty surrounding Chianti countryside.
All of Tuscany’s jewels are easily reached, with both Florence and Siena being only just over half an hours’ drive away by car or accessible via train and bus connections from nearby Poggibonsi. The famous medieval town of San Gimignano is just 10 minutes away, and many more of the regions attractions are easily visited.

In a pretty position overlooking the valley there is the swimming pool with salt water (11m x 5m depth 1.10-1.60 m), and also a separate hydrotherapy SPA Jacuzzi tub (€ 40, per 30 minutes for 4 persons) which is beneficial to the skin.
The swimming pool is open from the 30 March to 31 October.
The swimming pool has a roman style shape with steps gradually leading down into the water which is slightly salted. The pool has two hydro massage corners, an infinity edge and is particularly beautiful in the evening as its lights change the colour of the water creating a romantic atmosphere. The hot-tub should be reserved in advance.
The villa has its own private entrance and the garden is fully fenced. Parking is in the grounds next to the villa.
The garden and pool are for the exclusive use of guests renting the Villa Carolina.
The owners who live in the other part of the house with its own separate entrance are friendly and helpful.
The garden and orchard, lettuce, vegetables and aromatic herbs are also for your use as well as a barbeque and equipped area. The villa also has a laundry area with soap, iron and ironing board at your disposal.

Extra Services The owners can provide typical Tuscan dinners with " Bistecca alla Fiorentina" and also cooking classes on request (not available on Saturdays).

The farmhouse fully reflects its Tuscan traditions with a careful preservation of the wood beam ceilings and the antique terracotta floors. Casa Fiora has two panoramic terraces that are ideal for dining “al fresco”. One of the terraces faces the swimming pool; the other is on the opposite side of the farmhouse, so there is always a shady area during the day. The lovely swimming pool is placed in a superb position overlooking the surrounding hills and valleys. Casa Fiora is located only a few meters from “La Sorgente”, one of the most popular farmhouses in our programme. The two properties can be rented together for groups up to 18 people.
