River to River Indian Film Festival

The Ninth Edition of the River to River Indian Film Festival gets underway in December, showcasing some of the latest independent films coming out of India. It's the audience that decides the winner of the festival, so you really get to feel part of someting special.

This is a rare opportunity to enjoy Indian Cinema at the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. If you've never been to Florence, take an early weeks holiday, do your Christmas shopping, eat divine food and wander around the historic centre (which was fully pedestrianized last week!) during the day. Then from 4:30pm hop over to a cinema (in the centre) that's so beautiful on its inside, you'd think you were back in the Renaissance itself.
