Great Ending to a Fanastic Trip
My family and I spent a beautiful week in Tuscany at a villa called Il Doccio. Our most memorable time during our entire trip, by far, was the meal we had with the Gren family. The villa offered a free cooking lesson which we expected to be just that - a cooking lesson. But it was so much more!
We spent a few hours preparing the meal while drinking wine and chatting with the Gren family. Marina and Francesco stepped us through the preparation of the entire meal including homemade pasta that was to die for! Then the best part — sitting down with whole family and eating the fruits of our labor. The conversion was lively, the wine flowed easily, and the food was FANTASTIC. What a great way to end our visit to Tuscany. We can't wait to return to Il Doccio!
