Interior Description

This vacation home is a 3-room terraced house that spans over 70 square meters and is located on the ground floor. The furnishings are practical and include a living/sleeping room with 1 sofabed, a dining table, and a TV. You can access the terrace from this room.

There are two double bedrooms, each with their own bath/bidet/WC and TV. You can also access the garden from both bedrooms. The open kitchen is equipped with a mini-oven, oven, dishwasher, gas stove, 4 gas rings, and a kettle. The house is heated with gas.

Outside, there is a terrace and a porch with terrace furniture and two deck chairs. You'll have a beautiful view of the garden from here. There is also a washing machine and a baby cot for up to 2-year-olds. Please note that this vacation home is for non-smokers only, and only one pet/dog is allowed.

The entrance to this vacation home is private. Free Wi-Fi is only available outside the flats.

Walk Along The Beautiful Via Clodia In Tuscany

If you feel like enjoying the fresh air of the great outdoors and a historical cultural trip all in one then get set for a hiking or cycling trail along an ancient highway of Italy called Via Clodia! It’s believed to have been built by the Romans and continues on form the Etruscan road called Via Cava.

It’s paved with cobblestones quite a lot of the way and continues for a distance of 250 kilometres, connecting the southern part of Tuscany to Rome.

Named after the “mortella”, or wild myrtle, that grows all over the surrounding landscape of the area, the winery is on an estate that was once part of an even larger estate called La Badiola that is recorded on the maps of Grand Duke Leopoldo II of Tuscany in the 19th century. La Badiola was a pilot version of a model of an estate that the Hapsburg Lorraine rulers of the Grand Duchy hoped to establish, in which the marshy and malaria-ridden lands of this coastal part of Tuscany would be drained and repurposed for raising cattle. This land, however, has been since reappropriated once more and the 270 hectares of the estate have been planted with 170 hectares of vineyards of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, as well as more recently planted vineyards of white grape varieties such as Vermentino, Ansonica, Viognier, and a small area of Carménère by the Antinori family.
