Casa Al Coni is a lovely holiday home (150 sq m) with air conditioning, private pool and WiFi internet. The property can sleep up to six guests comfortably in three bedrooms with three bathrooms. Experience the Tuscan coast, it's just a short distance to the sea from the vacation rental (200 m 120 ft). In nearby towns there are local shops where you can find fresh produce and other items, but if you need a larger shopping center there is one located only 8 km (5 mi) from the property where you can purchase food and essentials.

Cool Off In Sunlight Park In Pisa This Summer

If you have found a vacation rental in the province of Pisa during the summer and are planning what to do over the course of your trip, you may find yourself in need of cooling down on one of those hot long days, in which case we have just the place for you: Sunlight Park. This compact water park is located right on the coast in Tirrenia and is a family-friendly destination designed for summer fun. A great way to keep the little ones amused if you're travelling as a family or, if you attend later sessions with pals, you can enjoy the special evenings that the park hosts for the grown-ups to have fun.

The beautiful Tuscan seaside town of Livorno has a lot to offer visitors. The first Italian movie "La presa di Roma," about the entry of Garibaldi's troops into Rome during the Risorgimento, was made in the city and it was the first of many. Venezia Nuova (literally meaning “New Venice”) is part of the Old Town of Livorno that retains much of the original town layout and architectural features and looks like a mini-Venice.

Meanwhile, Cavallino Matto, located near the city, is Tuscany’s biggest amusement park. Needless to say, there are also all the churches, museums, restaurants, views and other delights that recommend any Tuscan town, in addition.

However, no trip to Livorno is complete without visiting Terrazza Mascagni for a stroll and a photo opportunity.

In the last post in this series, here are two more of Tuscany's most unique and best theme parks. While the region may be better known for its cuisine and culture and while there may be plenty of museums, galleries, churches, architectural gems, landmarks and restaurants to be discovered, there are also adventures to be had.

Cavallino Matto, near Livorno, is Tuscany’s biggest amusement park. Originally set up in 1967 as a stables that offered pony trekking throughout the vast pine woods near the beach of Livorno during the summer.

Called ‘Parco Gulliver’, it also included crazy golf, ping pong tables, a bar, slides, swings and was free to enter. Over the years, this business grew and expanded until it was the biggest amusement park in the region.

In 2006, Cavallino Matto was purchased by the Manfredini family, who work in the funfair business, and has only grown larger since then.

Marina di Pisa is a seaside town located not far from Pisa. Its beginnings can be first traced back to the 17th century when Ferdinando I de’ Medici, Grand Duke of Tuscany, decided to move the mouth of the River Arno and reclaim land in the area. A hexagonal building surrounded by a moat, called “the Fort”, was then built for the custom traffic. Fishermen's houses probably began to spring up around this building over time but the official foundation of the town itself dates back to 1872. This is when the municipality of Pisa drew up a plan of a grid-pattern town divided by three squares connected to Pisa by a major road. Though the town of Marina di Pisa is not so old as many others in the region, it still has a fascinating history, is exceptionally pretty and is perched in a wonderful coastal location.

Sehr schönes und gut gelegenes Haus. Ein wenig anstrengend, da sich Wohnung im 2. Stock befindet. Der Garten ist herrlich. Die Küchenausstattung ist etwas dürftig (z.B. kein Schäler, wenig Schüsseln usw.) und dadurch, dass wir 300€ Strom und Reinigung nachzahlen mussten, auch etwas teuer.
