Property Description

The estate La Campana has a medieval origin, but it took its current shape in the seventeenth century, when the Sienese Tolomei family of bankers built the master’s villa with the chapel and enlarged the village.

The buildings have recently been restored and now you can enjoy a relaxing stay here, surrounded by the splendid landscape of the Crete Senesi, by the art and history of this unforgettable corner of Tuscany and by the oeno-gastronomic delights of this region, among which the white truffle stands out.
The property is composed of 8 apartments, the Renaissance Villa and the cottage Bruco, furnished in Tuscan style and they have an independent entrance and a private shaded external space or terrace, equipped with tables and chairs for eating al fresco.
The Renaissance Villa is surrounded by a large exclusive park with gazebo, and is furnished with late 19th-early 20th century pieces.
All the kitchens in the apartments and in the villa are equipped with cookers, oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer.

Swimming Pool

Private swimming pool (mts 6x12 depth 1,10-1,90 m) for the Renaissance Villa and shared one (mts 8x16 depth 1,10-1,80 m) for the cottage Bruco.
Swimming-pools: open from 01st of May till 30th of September.

The Villa has a private entrance to the exclusive park with high-growing trees that surrounds it, where there is also the pool, equipped with tables, chairs, deck-chairs and sunshades.

The cottage Bruco has a private garden with a shaded terrace, equipped with table and chairs for eating al fresco.

The abbey was founded in 1313 AD and is the mother house of the Olivetan Order of Benedictines. The Abbot responsible for the whole Order still resides here. The abbey contains important Renaissance masterpieces such as the cycle of frescoes by Luca Signorelli and Sodoma (early 16th century) depicting the life of Saint Benedict.
