Property Description

Antico Mulino is part of a stone Tuscan farmhouse of very ancient origins. For generations the Lepri family has handed down the mill from father to son, and since the early 1900's it has been a very important reference point for the local farming community. On the ground floor of the villa you can still fill your eyes admiring the ancient stone millstones which produced the flour used to prepare the famous Tuscan bread. A true piece of Tuscan history!
The two double bedrooms and three bathrooms make this villa particularly suitable for families with children and couples of friends. Your small size four-legged friends are also welcome.
The villa is located on the edge of a green valley, in a position easily accessible but at the same time quiet and peaceful. Arezzo, with its fancy shops and every kind of service, is only 12 km away and can be reached in about 15 minutes by car.
The villa has a private swimming pool (size 10x4 m., depth 1,40 m. - open from 01st May to 30th September), fenced and totally safe for children.
It will be very pleasant to spend the cool summer evenings in the equipped gazebo in the garden, next to the kitchen on the ground floor. Family dinners, in front of a glass of good local red wine, barbecues and aperitifs in full relaxation.
One of the bonuses of the farmhouse is the vegetable garden, personally cared for by the owners Ilario and Valeria, where you will not fail to pick your favourite vegetables every day, genuine and fresh.

Interior Description

GROUND FLOOR: bathroom with shower and wide kitchen with access to a paved external area, next to the swimming pool, equipped with gazebo, table, chairs and barbecue, ideal for outdoor meals.
FIRST FLOOR: with access only from an external staircase with typical, small loggia, living-dining room with TV, kitchenette with wood burning oven and access to a small terrace with table and chairs ideal for outdoor breakfasts. From the living room access to a sitting room with sofas, wide dining room, bathroom with shower, twin bedroom, double bedroom and bathroom with shower. The rooms are connected by a few steps.

Das Haus, der Pool und die Umgebung waren super. Sehr freundlicher Vermieter und Nachbarn. Das Gemüsebeet zur Selbstversorgung haben wir rege genutzt.
Leider hatten wir fast kein WLAN Empfang, das war sehr schade.

Unfortunately we had almost no WiFi reception, which was a shame.

Proprietari gentili e disponibili. Danno la possibilità di prendere le verdure dal proprio orto il che è molto comodo.
La casa è fornita della maggior parte degli utensili e strumenti che possano servire durante una vacanza. È molto piacevole passare una giornata nella zona della piscina.
Come chiaramente descritto è divisa in due parti non comunicati. Può risultare scomodo specialmente la sera, se si è dimenticato qualcosa nell'altra zona, dover andare da una parte all'altra.

Segnalo la presenza di cinghiali che specialmente la notte si aggirano attorno all'abitazione e nel paese. Per chi ha un cane come me non è affatto piacevole: la sera si ha proprio paura di uscire.
Anche durante il giorno, per chi piace girare con il cane e avventurarsi in mezzo alla natura, è possibile trovare cinghiali il quale risulta pericoloso in presenza di cani.

Luogo ideale per passare giornate tranquille e pace assoluta nel bel mezzo delle colline aretine.
La casa è ben strutturata ed accogliente con ogni confort. A disposizione un fornitissimo orto.
Padroni di casa cordiali e disponibili. Bellissima esperienza. La consiglio vivamente.

Beautiful house, very nice owner. Owner and his wife did everything to make our stay nice, but we could not understand each other.

Contactperson was difficult to reach, and when we reached him his reaction was short and brutal.

We found 2 times cleaning the pool in a period of 3 weeks with temperature over 30 degrees not too much.
But he said we have to keep calm, it was no problem!

Really enjoyed our stay at Antico Mulino. It was worth every Euro. The pool is grand and all amenities are present. Nearest village is Palazzo del Pero (5 min away) where you can purchase basic amenities and eat excellent pizza.
