We enjoyed our stay immensely. Guido was a wonderful host, and gave us tips about restaurant to dine and small places to visit that is out of tourist destinations. The house is easy to find using google map, and it was very well maintained. We really enjoyed the garden and veranda, and we had breakfast outside in the garden everyday, the view was stunning and unforgettable. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a quite and relaxing Italian country vacation.

Remarkable house with a lovely secondary house. Amazing views from both the pool and terrace. Outdoor eating areas were fabulous. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Property is a half to an hour away from various cities including Gubbio, Perugia, Cortona and Assisi. The owners are absolutely lovely people. The place was spotless. Their home-made prosecco and olive oil were remarkable. We highly recommend!

If you are looking for a beautiful and relaxing retreat in the middle of the heart of Tuscany, Podere Palazzo is the place to stay. While we weren't familiar with D'orcia prior to our trip, it is an ideal location as it's a short drive from everything Tuscany has to offer (including Montalcino, Montepulciano, and Pienza). Definitely try D'orcia wine as well, it's up there with the better known wines of the area - but is a hidden gem. We loved it!
We were traveling as two couples, each with a child under the age of 2 and the property was exactly what we were hoping for. It is perched on top of a hill with sweeping views of typical Tuscan rolling hills (every room in the house has an amazing view). The property is surrounded by some large trees which helps keep the property cool in the heat of the day, and the pool was an absolute treat after a day of wine tasting. The house is a converted old farm house, and both the interior and exterior have been refinished to a high standard. It perfectly blends rustic charm with modern luxury. I really don't know how our trip could have been any more relaxing (even considering we had a 3 month old with us)
We highly recommend hiring a local chef (you can ask the owner for details). We hired a chef to cook for us 3 nights during our stay, and it was truly a blessing. Not having to worry about a meal on the day we arrived worked out perfectly, as we arrived on a Sunday and most of the local super markets were closed.. Going out for dinner is nearly impossible with young children, so having the chef come to us after the kids were asleep was one of the highlights of the trip. The food was amazing as well.

Wow this property was simply stunning and well suited our needs. The owner Roberto went above and beyond to help us as we got lost on trying to first find the property and he drove to meet us. We arrived to the most spectacular bowl of fresh fruit and some water and milk in the fridge which were most needed as we arrived on a Sunday when everything is closed although there is a garage ten minute drive away that sells a few bits and the coop supermarket it about 5 minute drive away. The pool was fabulous and don’t worry about it being not heated it’s warm enough and just perfect to cool off in. There’s a solar heated shower next to the pool to. Roberto owns the surrounding land too and there’s a stream running down the back. The house was spotless and has everything we needed as a family of two adults and two children. I just wish we could have stayed for longer.

Classic Tuscan brick house, about 400 years old. Very charming with beautiful, huge property!! Located just outside of town, within 2 minutes driving distance to walled historic center.

The main house is comfortable for 14-15 person and there is a 3 beds room in the annex below the terrace. You could think at first sight that one kitchen is too little for a bigger group but finally it was totally enough for 12 person and it is very well equipped (there is 2 fridge, 1 big cooker with 5 (!) stove and oven, toast maker, microwave, american and italian coffe maker and lots of plate, pot, glass etc.).
The pool side is so perfect as dream, in the garden there are lots of option for kids (and adults): table football, table tennis, playground, football pitch, pizza oven, grill.
Don't miss a breakfast on the panoramic terrace.
Fully recommended in the rustic style category! I think we will back soon.
Just one note: maybe the room (in the annex) under the terrace could be a bit loud but we didn't use it.

This villa was just perfect for our group of 8 couples, consisting of professionals and spouses. We each had a very spacious bedroom and comfortable bathroom (especially by European standards). The house itself was a timepiece. The grounds were manicured well, and the aroma of the jasmine and other plants and trees were terrific. I could not wait to get outside first thing in the morning to drink coffee and take in the views and smells, and our entire group thoroughly enjoyed spending late evening ours talking and enjoying wine and the stars. Even though every room was occupied, we had ample room and did not feel we were tripping over one another. We enjoyed preparing breakfasts and a few other meals altogether. Meals at the adjacent Villa Bernardini were delicious and came with a breathtaking view of Capannori and Lucca.
The house was well located for getting to Lucca, nearby groceries, Cinque Terre, Pisa, and Florence.
I couldn't have been happier with Buonvisi and the great staff.

Een zeer goed, typisch Toscaans, vakantiehuis met ruime woonkeuken, kamer, 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. De inrichting is gezellig en compleet. We hebben ook genoten van de tuin, grasveld met veel bomen (heerlijke schaduwplekken. Bovendien ligt het centraal v.w.b. de Toscaanse kunststeden. Vlakbij Siena, en ca. 1 uurtje rijden van Florence, San Gimignano, Arezzo, Pienza enz enz. Total indruk dus : zeer goed. Een aanrader !!!
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] A very good, typical Tuscan, holiday home with spacious kitchen, room, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The decor is cozy and complete. We also enjoyed the garden, lawn with many trees (wonderful shady spots). Moreover, it is centrally located for the Tuscan art cities. Close to Siena, and about 1 hour's drive from Florence, San Gimignano, Arezzo, Pienza etc. etc. very good. Recommended !!!
