Sehr schön saniertes Objekt, mit einfacher, jedoch zweckmäßig ausgestatteter Ferienwohnung. Die Anfahrtsbeschreibung passt nicht ganz: die elektronische Schranke an der Zufahrt zur Altstadt ist nicht in Betrieb. Die Durchfahrt ist somit möglich, eine Abholung von dort wird nicht erfolgen.

Very nice renovated apartment, with simple, but functional equipment. The directions do not quite fit: the electronic barrier at the entrance to the old town is not in operation. The passage is thus possible, a pickup from there will not take place.

Wir haben zu zweit eine Woche im August in der Ferienwohnung "Lavanda" verbracht. Die Wohnung ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet, alles entsprach den Angaben und den Fotos. Die Fliegengitter waren teilweise nicht ganz dicht und der Backofen funktionierte nicht. Ansonsten war alles vorhanden, in einem guten Zustand und sehr sauber.
Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Bei unserer Ankunft schenkten sie uns eine Flasche Wein vom eigenen Weingut und wir konnten kostenlos an einer Führung über das Weingut und einer Weinverkostung teilnehmen. Neben unserer eigenen Terrasse durften wir weitere Terrassen des Anwesens nutzen. Alle boten einen atemberaubenden Ausblick über die umliegende (typisch toskanische) Landschaft bis hin zum Ort San Gimignano. Der Ausblick war wunderschön, noch schöner als auf den Fotos.
Insgesamt war das Anwesen sehr groß und schön (grüne Wiesen, Olivenhaine, Wein, ...). Der Pool war ca. 200 Meter von unserer Wohnung entfernt, ebenfalls groß, in einem sehr guten Zustand (auch die Liegen) und mit einem schönen Ausblick.
Das Anwesen ist nur über einen Kieselweg zu erreichen, weshalb man langsam fahren muss und von San Gimignano ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto braucht. Belohnt wird man dafür mit Ruhe und einem wunderschönen Ausblick. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen!

We spent a week in August in the apartment "Lavanda". The apartment is functional, everything corresponded to the information and the photos. The mosquito nets were sometimes not very tight and the oven did not work. Otherwise everything was available, in good condition and very clean.
The landlords were very nice and helpful. On arrival, they gave us a bottle of wine from their own winery and we were able to participate for free at a guided tour of the winery and a wine tasting. In addition to our own terrace we were allowed to use more terraces of the property. All offered a breathtaking view over the surrounding (typical Tuscan) landscape up to the place San Gimignano. The view was beautiful, even more beautiful than in the photos.
Overall, the property was very large and beautiful (green meadows, olive groves, wine, ...). The pool was about 200 meters from our apartment, also large, in a very good condition (also the beach chairs) and with a nice view.
The property can only be reached via a pebble path, so you have to drive slowly and from San Gimignano takes about 10 minutes by car. You will be rewarded with peace and a beautiful view. We would like to come back!
