What a wonderful spot to spend 5 days in Tuscany! Our extended family of 13 rented the entire villa. The villa is lovely, the pool and house has a wonderful view of the countryside and the hilltop town on Montepulciano. The owners gave the children (age 11 to 20, not really a child) a few tours of the farm and brought us fresh produce (zucchini, lettuce, onion) one day that we used for an amazing lunch of local cheese, bread and wine in their screened dining room. The first evening and morning we had our dinner and breakfast cooked for us. We all agreed the dinner, a multi course feast, was one of the best meals we had during our 10 day visit to Italy! The garden, nicely labeled, was lovely. We visited Sienna, Pienza, Arezzo, Cortona and a number of other villages from the villa. If I had to give one regret, it would be it is just a bit too far south to comfortably visit Florence, Lucca, etc. Also, one small basement room was a bit damp due to a small leak. [Owner reply: The leak was fixed immediately and the problem was resolved]

We loved our time in Lucca and especially loved the apartment. It is newly decorated so it was modern, clean with excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities. I think the apartment had the best location in town overlooking restaurants and shops in the amphitheatre below. Bruno the owner was so helpful and really made us feel welcome and provided us with map and he gave us advice on where and what to do in Lucca. Photo below of us looking out of apartment window.

We stayed in Villa Il Nido in the summer of 2011 and had a wonderful time there. We - a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 little children) really appreciated the villa and the surrounding area. The villa is situated on the top of a hill and has a lot of privacy. The main house (in which the owner and his family lives) is near the villa. Paolo and his family (wife and sons and a kind dog) are very warm and kind people and know exactly how to please their guests. They are there if you need them, but do not interfere with your life. An example: when I needed WiFi for my tablet (there was 'only' cabled internet), it was installed and working the next day! The swimming pool is secluded and private and perfect to relax. We really would advice friends to pay this villa a visit!

We loved staying at Villa Baggine. The property was perfect and the host were amazing. Spending time here was a highlight of our 3 week vacation. We are still talking about it and can't wait to plan another trip there.

This was a charming villa with a real Old World feel in a lovely little village. It was very hot during a couple of days but there was a nice breeze at night to cool the house when you sleep with the windows open. One drawback is the lack of screens or shutters. We were uncomfortable keeping windows wide open during the whole night (just a personal preference, because insects were not an issue), even though the village was extremely safe. We loved sitting on the front porch at night! The steps to the 2nd floor could be concern for older travelers or young children, as there is no railing. Overall, a wonderful place to stay with a good central location to visit Pisa, Florence, Siena, and the many wineries. The property was very easy to book and customer service with Easy Reserve was wonderful.

From the moment we arrived at Casa Ivan we loved it! What an amazing welcome and what a fabulous place to stay. We could not have asked for more, Casa Ivan is a beautiful property the gardens and pool AND views are to die for. We also married in Cortona while we were staying there, and returned to a feast fit for a King arranged by the hosts. We would not nor could not return to Tuscany AND NOT stay at Casa Ivan, it is a magical place with a kind a heart warming family who run it and to them we want to say a big thank you for making our holiday and our wedding banquet at the villa so special. 10/10 from all of us. We were a party of 8 (four couples) and this Villa was fantastic!! It exceeded our expectations. The photos represent the villa perfectly. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. Appliances worked very well. We loved sitting out by the pool in the evening. The owners were very welcoming and made sure that we had everything that we needed. They were very helpful and arranged a wonderful dinner for us at a local restaurant. It was situated very well for day trips to Pisa, Firenze, Volterra, San Gimi, Sienna etc. Save time to enjoy this property though!!

Casa Verdiana is an excellent property located in the heart of Tuscany. The villa is very spacious, clean and has everything you need. It is in an excellent location (it is in walking distance to the town) and the owners could not have been more helpful. We so enjoyed our family vacation here and would not hesitate to book it again! The Villa Fontine, aka Villa Niccolai, is a tremendous property, with excellent comforts, exquisite grounds, and a pastoral location. It is a very authentic Tuscan villa, looking small from the outside but is open and spacious inside. Multiple outdoor dining locations are available: poolside, under a new poolside curtained gazebo, in the garden, or under the porch awning. The owners, Angela (mother) and Sylvia (daughter), were gracious, warm, and welcoming. We did a special dinner with a chef the first night and it was divine. It is a great space for kids ages 4 and up (for younger tots, there are lots of stone stairs and the pool is not fenced), with plenty of room to run around outside. Only a few slight negatives: wifi isn't very strong so must stay close to host's house (no signal on porch or at pool); neighboring roosters start calling at 4:30 am, an authentic but not ordered wake-up call; the owner's house is very close to the villa, but owners not intrusive at all; gardening commences at 7 am or earlier each morning. Overall, it was a magnificent place to stay.

Peaceful rural location on Chianti wine route surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. Easy drive to Florence, Sienna or San Gimignano, etc. Friendly owners with wonderful olive oil and cheese produced on the property. Excellent restaurants within a few minutes drive. Downside with the high temperatures (late June) was the lack of fan or air con & the number of flies which made the stay less enjoyable - fly screens for the doors would help - and although a pool was advertised with the property it was out of commission the week we were there.
