Tired of the mainstream hustle and bustle when you go on holidays? The constant shoving and pushing and queuing up to get a glimpse of some tourist attraction only to be pushed aside by the people behind you without even having a chance to take it in properly?
Then maybe it's time to look at a holiday in a quieter area, a holiday where you can relax beside a pool, take in the glorious scenery and sun and also maybe take a trip into a not so full of tourists spot and admire the historical buildings and artifacts of a more rural Italian countryside.
The two villages of Sorano and Pitigliano are not to be missed and neither is the beautiful area of Maremma in south-western Tuscany. In fact, if you decide to stay in Maremma, you can take in the wonderful Medieval culture of the area while taking day trips to these 2 wonderful little villages.
