Try Some Challenging Land Sports In Tuscany!

Skateboarding
There is a wealth of thrilling land sports you can get involved in during your adventurous holiday to Tuscany! The region is brimming with fast paced activities like quad racing, motocross tracks, rock climbing, parkour and much more!

These exciting land sports are available all across Tuscany so booking luxury vacation rentals near the cities of Florence, Lucca, Pisa, or in the towns and villages at the foot of the Apennines or Apuan Alps will guarantee close proximity to many of them.

Try learning the art of skateboarding at a popular skate Park just outside of Florence city or get into combat mode with an exhilarating few hours spent in simulated combat at an airsoft adventure centre! Learn how to act like a soldier in a war situation but in a non violent and non physical simulation that still gets the adrenaline flowing!
Mountain biking in Tuscany
Rent the necessary equipment and head out on a scenic mountain biking trail through the hilly districts of Tuscany. This is an excellent way to explore all the quaint towns and villages in the colourful Tuscan countryside.

If you’re holidaying near a beach, why not give the popular sports of freestyle Frisbee and Indo boarding a go? Freestyle Frisbee is the usual game of throwing a plastic disc to each other only with a few extra acrobatics and quirky tricks thrown in.

Indo boarding can be played using a small but tough cylinder container and balancing a board on top of it. People then take it in turns to get on the board and try to balance on it for as long as they can. It’s like surfing or skateboarding only you don’t move very far, unless you fall on the ground!
Mountain climbing
Climb one or all of the six Vie Ferrate in Tuscany! These are rock faces equipped with fixed cables, steeples, ladders and bridges for climbers who want to practice their rock climbing skills without the usual risk that usually comes with vertical ascents.

Equipment can be rented from a nearby outlet outside Florence or others in the surrounding area. This is certainly not an endeavour for those with a fear of heights or who scare easily as things can become very intense on the journey skyward!
