There’s one gorgeous waterfall and pool beside Casoli town along the side of the River Lombricese. Tucked into the foothills of Mount Matanna, visitors need to follow a rocky path for ten minutes before reaching this serene paradise. It’s highly recommended that you try to visit during the week when it’s quieter as it can get quite crowded at the weekends!

If you are passing through the town of Seravezza in the Versilia region of Tuscany then you’ll find yet another treasure! The Malbacco waterfalls are located where the Serra River and the Vezza River meet, hence the name of the town, Seravezza. See the majestic waterfall that cascades from ten metres above into a cold clear basin; ensure you bring your camera to take a photo of this superb view!
Thermal springs of Saturnia!
If you prefer only warm water then Tuscany still has something to offer you; a visit to the thermal waterfalls in Saturnia, a famous spa destination in the region! There are two waterfalls and thermal water basins open to the public all year around which are heated by the geothermal activity that goes on under the earth here.

Legend tells the thrilling tale that these picturesque hot springs and waterfalls were created when the legendary Greek king of the gods, Jupiter, dropped his thunderbolt in a battle against the god of time, Saturn. Saturnia’s springs are meant to mark the spot where this thunderbolt struck the earth!
