Villa Carolina was an outstanding place to spend a vacation. The Villa is large and absolutely spotless. We were a group of six and never felt crowded at all. The grounds and pool area are immaculate and it was so wonderful to enjoy our meals outside overlooking the beautiful scenery.
Gabriele and Lucia were very welcoming and enthusiastically showed us around the Villa. Throughout our stay they brought us little treats--peaches from their tree, peppers--and the meal we had prepared by Lucia was incredible.
The location is great for touring Tuscany by car, and there is a train station in nearby Poggibonsi as well.
We have stayed in numerous villas throughout our travels but Villa Carolina was by far the best! We highly recommend it.
