Lajatico, close to the towns of Volterra and Montecatini has so much to offer tourists by way of sights and history. Begin your tour with a visit to the beautifully designed church of St. Leonard and the large bell tower and clock in the main square. There’s the remains of a castle in the town square too which dates back to before the year 1000.
