Marradi is actually made up of a cluster of villages and hamlets including Abeto, Campigno, Popolano and Crespino. Start the day of exploration in Marradi with a visit to the secluded Hermitage Gamogna, a monastery founded by St. Peter Damian. Then walk around the Church of San Lorenzo which was redesigned in a beautiful neoclassical style in 1785.
