Bagni San Filippo is a small spa village in Siena province close to Mount Amiata. Set in the midst of scenic greenery, the steaming thermal pools of Bagni San Filippo are filled by an unusual naturally formed mat called ‘Fosso Bianco’.
This is because the waters that run along it are white in colour due to the high levels of calcium, sodium and magnesium dissolved into it. There are pretty little waterfalls along the way just waiting to be captured in a souvenir photograph of your fascinating time here!
