The Giardino Bardini, or Bardini Garden, is a Renaissance garden that is still a bit of a well-kept secret devoid of crazy crowds of tourists. Filled with beautiful canals, fountains, flowers and sculptures, it also boasts some exceptional views over the city.

Made up of 4 hectares of parkland perched on a hill that faces towards the Arno from the south, it offers views across the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio and Santa Croce, with the best vista being visible from the baroque stairs.

Florence's Duomo and its museums are an important attraction for any culture or art-lover visiting the city. Both the church and tower can be scaled and both offer truly incredible views over the city.
The trek up to the top of the 84.7 metre tall tower is a little grueling but is well worth the effort.
