In the last post we were discussing Pisa and why it is such an excellent place to visit...In fact, we began listing just ten of the many reasons as to why you should find a luxury villa in Pisa and plan a trip right away. Here are the other five to complete the set...

7. Borgo Stretto: This is a popular pedestrian shopping street filled with charming historic buildings, stores, eateries and cafés. Ideal for wandering, doing a spot of shopping and grabbing a bite to eat, it's an idyllic and typical pretty Tuscan cityscape to spend some time in.

8. The Other leaning towers: As if one leaning tower isn't enough, the bell tower at the church of St. Michele degli Scalzi, located on Viale delle Piagge, is one of several leaning towers in the city. If you have a penchant for vaguely unstable construction, Pisa is the place for you!
9. The National Museum of the Royal Palace: Located inside the Royal Palace overlooking the Arno, which was designed by Bernardo Buontalenti in the 16th century for the Medici, the museum is home to works of art and household items from Medici, Lorena and Savoy palaces. An extraordinary setting and collection, it is a stunning place to get lost in incredible craftsmanship of times gone by for hours...
10. Botanic Gardens: Pisa's Botanic Gardens are one of the world's oldest. Located in the centre of Pisa, just minutes from the Leaning Tower, they are the oldest botanic gardens in Italy and Europe and part of the University of Pisa, founded in 1543 by the famous Pisan physician and botanist, Luca Ghini. Pretty and historic, they are an unsung gem in the city.
