Castello Leopoldo is a wonderful castle dating back to the 16th century, that is situated in panoramic location on the hills surrounding Campiglia Marittima and is a romantic-style building, which has preserved its ancient charm and original architectural features. With enchanting views over the valley below that stretch out as far as to the island of Elba, in the distance, on clear days, it is a perfect getaway destination.

Located in the centre of Poggiolo-salaiole, 23km from Florence, Villa Il Poggiolo is a beautiful historic gem that can sleep up to 12 guests comfortably in six bedrooms with six bathrooms. The shaded and lushly forested grounds are extensive and well-kept and feature a private pool and a covered lounging area. Inside, the rooms are large and many feature charming period details and antiques though there is no lack of modern conveniences. Very much a noble country residence from a fairytale, it is a lovely retreat in the Tuscan countryside that is perfect for exploring the surrounding area and all of its charms.
