Divided into two connecting buildings, spread over a total area of around 800sqm, the castle is made up of impressive interiors with original features – such as high exposed beam ceilings and big old fireplaces – and gorgeous exterior areas. Inside, on the ground floor, there are two well-equipped kitchens. One features stainless steel counters and appliances paired alongside a lovely marble-top antique table with four antique straw-seat chairs and a massive and impressive old wooden chest of drawers topped with a collection of giant old wine bottles – nicely allowing both old and new to meet. The other kitchen is smaller but lighter and brighter, with cream cabinets, white tile with a blue trim, and light grey counter-tops. Both, however, are well-equipped with a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, stove top, oven, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, and WIFI.
Also on the ground floor, is a stunning living room with tree sofas, a fireplace, a satellite tv, and a wonderful and carefully considered curation of interesting works of art, antiques, rugs, and more; a dining room with a table that seats ten guests; another, larger dining room with a table for twenty-two guests; a bathroom, and a service room with a sink, washing machine, and iron.
There is another living room on the first floor, similarly elegantly decorated with a charming collection of antiques and works of art, also with two sofas, two armchairs, two fireplaces, and a satellite tv. Then, there are the bedrooms on this floor – three regular double rooms; a room with a French bed, fireplace, sofa, and desk; and a double with a sofa. Two bathrooms, one with a bathtub, round out this floor.
On the second floor, there are two more bathrooms and, again, one of these has a tub. Then, there are four double bedrooms, one double with a sofa, and one single room. The final bedroom is a double with a sofa, four armchairs, and a desk, located on the third floor.
Outside, there is a historic little chapel on the grounds, plenty of trees, the private swimming pool that boasts panoramic views and is surrounded by sun loungers, lots of little areas to dine or relax al fresco, and a courtyard/patio with more areas to relax and eat outdoors.
