The villa and its location are great. It is a bit difficult to find at first but once there it is brilliant. The dogs another renter coplained about in 2006 are still there and are very noisy, particularly at night. However, after we addressed this with the owners (who are very lovely people), the remaining nights were not interrupted by barking dogs.
The pool and the gardens are great and offer plenty of opportunity to chill out, relax and catch up on sleep - we will definitely come again.

My husband and I took our parents and 2 children (8 total)on a Tuscany vacation for a week. The accommodations at Torre del Cielo were perfect and charming. Each bedroom had own air conditioner and bathroom and gave each couple their private space. The grounds were beautiful and the views outstanding. The pool was clean and refreshing as the days in July were very hot. The laundry room was functional and tremendously helpful for all. Be prepared for summer mosquitos during the evenings...The region was a perfect area to explore the large cities and enjoy the small towns. People everywhere were very friendly. Our host Mr. Rosadi made every effort to be available for us, and make sure we were comfortable. He was a big source of comfort being in a foreign land. We had 2 dinners cooked for us by Chef Barbara and they were outstanding. I would not hesitate to go back or try a different property by this owner-highly recommended!!

What a stunning place to stay!! We booked both Massi 1 & 2 (14 Adults 4 Children) to use as a base for our wedding in Certaldo Alto. Massi sits on top of a hill between San Gimignano and Certaldo, about 3 miles away from both and surrounded by grape and olive fields with beautiful views all around. If you want to experience typical Tuscan countryside then this is the place to come!
