New Review Submitted for Uccellaia located in Agello, Umbria, Italy.

Rental Date: Saturday 26th of June 2010.
Renter Rating: 5/5.
Review Details:
The Villa Uccellaia was the perfect stay! Beautiful area, quiet surroundings. The area felt safe. No traffic close to the property. The kids loved the pool, play area and the church were they had lots of fun. The sitting areas around the house were all very nice but we found our favorite spot. We were two families with three little boys.
The care taker, Roberto was very helpful. Took care of the garden and pool every morning.
We would love to come back one day.

WONDERFUL!! QUIET PARADISE! BELISSIMO! All aspects were right what we were looking for. Quiet, serene, beautiful, easy to get to and get around. Each day was fantastic journey into the Tuscan region and with each day starting off with a restful and peaceful walk thru the huge Botanical Garden, which provided beautiful views of the surrounding area, made each day all the more enjoyable. After enjoying the surrounding areas, the pool provided a pleasant and cool refresher. The location was the most convenient of any villa we researched being only 35 minutes to Florence and roughly 45 minutes to 1 hour to Siena, made getting out and seeing the surrounding towns easy to do and plan. It also made for easy returns with wine purchases at all the wine retailers in the Chianti region. A definite 5 star stay in my book. Will look forward to returning in the future.

Review Details:
My husband and I had a wonderful week in the charming farm-
house with the most spectacular wiew to the winefields and to Montalcino- the standard of the house was very fine it was
wellfunctioning and clean as wel was the area round the house and the pool.Only we should have liked a little better and bigger frying pan to prepare the very good t-bone steaks and more.
We will especially remember the most fantastic help and kindness from the owner of the property Andrea Ciuti. The way he helped us and his hospitality in all ways cold not be emphasizid enough.
Tis wonderfull place we will surely return to and recommend.

Amazing views, stunning sunsets, fabulous hostess with great family history and charm (can't say enough about this one in words!!!), and quiet, small hometown feel. There are plenty of activities within driving distances of 1-2 hours or less to make the Tuscany area complete. Easy access to the COOP and other local needs. Recommend paying attention on hours of operation for afternoon closures, am/pm, and weekend/holiday closures. I would recommend bringing your motion sickness drugs for those who have difficulty in the car-lots of windy roads, but views that make it all worth while!!! Michelle, Wayland, MA-USA
