Loved this property it was perfect after a hectic tour.Our bedroom was upstairs and overlooked vinyards,grapevines gardens and the most heavenly perfume. One needs a car and with a GPS and $200 in cash deposit and be aware that cleaning,heating is taken from this The property is not within walking distance of any village, so groceries are essential. Breakfast things milk,soap, loo paper English is not widely spoken. The roads are very narrow we did lots of day trips into the little villages, but would suggest if going into the bigger cities eg Sienna,Pissa as we did and got hoplessly lost (did not have a GPS Do these from Florence by train.

This apartment was cozy, and comfortable with a classic Tuscan decor. It looked just like the pictures, and was even roomier. The private patio outside the door was perfect for relaxing and looking over the beautiful farm. The owners who live on site are welcoming, charming and very helpful We really enjoyed the dinner served one evening. It allowed us to meet the other guests from all over Europe. Nearby Castelfiorentino is a good place to catch the train for day trips, or Sienna, San Gigmignano (lovely) and Florence are all within an hour's drive.

What a view. Yes, do not take a low rider to this location however we did have a front wheel drive Fiat wagon and did not have a problem. The villa was immaculate and we would recommend it to anyone wanting an out of the way spot to vacation. We used this villa to stage many day trips. Paula our hostess was only seen on the first and last day but came and cleaned several times. We were very satisfied.

Very nice complex with a couple of appartments. The buildings seem to have been an old Tuscany farmhouse. Beautifully restored interior. Everything you would need, even if you plan to prepare all your meals yourself (not recommended, you would miss quite a few really good restaurants). There are beautiful views from the property to Panzano, although not from every appartment. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The only (minor) problem is the Chiantigiana (street) on weekends, when vacationers on bikes pass by.
Fortunately, there was no disturbing noise from the street at night.

Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen. Es ist keine Ferienanlage, man lebt zwischen Einheimischen. Leider hörte man den Mieter über uns sehr laut. Ansonsten himmlische Ruhe. Zu bemängeln war auch, dass der Pool nicht, wie angegeben, ab Mai benutzbar war und dass der Vermieter nur italienisch sprach (kein Wort englisch oder deutsch. Er war aber sehr nett. San Gimignano war zwar in ca. 40 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, aber das letzte Stück über eine enge, gut frequentierte Autostraße, also nicht für einen Spaziergang geeignet. Spaziergänge und Wanderungen trotzdem sehr gut möglich.
Ferienwohnung war erstaunlich gut ausgestattet, was Küche und Wäsche betrifft und auch sehr gemütlich.
Resumée: Wir würden wieder hinfahren, schon allein wegen des Weltmeister Eises in San Gimignano!

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] The house is very nice situated. It is not a holiday resort, you live among the locals. Unfortunately, we heard the tenants above us very loudly. Otherwise, heavenly peace. To complain about was that the pool was not to be used in May, as stated, and that the landlord spoke Italian only (no word in English or German). He was anyway very friendly. San Gimignano was indeed to be reached in about 40 minutes walk, but the last part of the path was in a narrow, well-frequented road, so not suitable for a walk. Walks and hikes are very possible though.
The apartment was amazingly well equipped in terms of kitchen and laundry and also very comfortable.
Summing up: We would go there again, if only because of the world champion ice in San Gimignano!
