Our group of five couples and three kids enjoyed a wonderful week at Villa Nell'infinito. The views from the hilltop are stunning, and we never got tired of them. The house is perfect for relaxing, cooking, and eating together on the terrace. The location is convenient to historic towns, wineries, and beautiful countryside. Roberta and her family took great care to make us comfortable, answering questions and responding to all requests quickly. Highly recommended!

Een heerlijk en zeer smaakvol huis met een fantastisch uitzicht en een zeer gastvrije huiseigenaresse. De laatste 3 kilometer is een beste klim zelfs met de auto. Niet echt geschikt voor onervaren bestuurders.

De pluspunten: Het uitzicht is schitterend! 4 zeer ruime appartementen met ieder 3 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. Bedden zijn hard, maar sliepen prima. Kies bij voorkeur beneden appartement koeler en terras voor de deur. Boven heel smal balkon (nr 7) onderaan trap wel terrasje met tafel maar ga je niet snel zitten. Mooi zwembad met voor iedereen een ligbed/stoel en parasol. Binnen 10 minuten in Certaldo met hele mooie nog niet erg toeristische oude stad, je zit ook direct aan de Chianti wijnroute, steden als Florence, San Gimignano en Siena zijn binnen een uur bereikbaar. Eigenaren zijn vriendelijk en spreken perfect Engels (hebben in USA gewoond). De Maar: huis is 2 meter van redelijk drukke weg, overdag geen last omdat je merendeels buiten bent maar avond en ochtend héél vervelend in de slaapkamer langs de weg. Je kan hierdoor echt geen raam open laten staan. Er is één airco in woonkamer en dat is onvoldoende om slaapkamers te koelen. Helaas geen fans aanwezig, zou gescheeld hebben. Gehele appartement wel voorzien van muggengaas, maar buiten is er geen ontkomen aan. Summiere inrichting.

This villa, which generously sleeps 10 (plus we had a crib for a baby), is beautifully situated in San Feliciano next to the shore of Lake Trasimeno and at the center of many of the Tuscan and Umbrian towns of interest. The villa itself, with separate first floor unit accommodating 4 and second floor unit for 6, ideally suited our party. The outdoor terrace with its ample dining options and view over the valley to San Savino, was enjoyed by everyone for meals and fellowship. The pool was a life-saver, as central Italy was experiencing a drought and close to 100 degrees F. every day. The support staff was responsive. One small issue: For a rental of this cost, there should have been adequate dish detergent and dish washer soap, laundry soap, and toilet paper for a party of 10 for one week. There was not. For very little cost, the rental could have supplied these essentials. We give this rental an enthusiastic thumbs up!
