Location:
The location was very good. 10 minutes from Cortona. Cortona had very good restaurants and very good shopping.

10 minutes from Arrezzo. Arrezzo also had very good shopping and very good restaurants. They had more "Americanized" restaurants such as McDonald's and a BBQ style restaurant.

The place was very easy to find using GPS Google Maps. We did not use the directions included as they were hard to understand. We Googled "Directions to Cappechi Dario" and found it no problem.

Property Owners:
Miru and Eva were the nicest people. They had the ins and outs of all the local restaurants and shopping. They also make, bottle, and sell their own wine and Olive Oil for a very good price.

Property:
The property was beautiful. They had a pool that had an amazing view of the sunset. It's super quiet there as it's out in the country side. It is a working farm, so they get started early, but thet are not noisy.

Amenities:
They had a washer on sight, but no dryer. All clothes needed to be hung to dry, but Eva offered to dry our clothes in her dryer. All bedrooms had air conditioning units, but we didn't use them due to it not being hot enough. Each apartment had it's own bathroom complete with shower, toliet, and sink.

However, heat was 30 euro per day (it was only needed 1 day), there is a 100 euro cleaning fee and a 250 euro refundable deposit upon arrival.

Overview:
If/when I return to Italy I would most certainly stay here again. I would advise anyone venturing into this area to stay here. The property, the location, and the people are very great and made this a very unforgettable, pleasant, and awesome experience.

This is one of the best villas we have stayed in!! We were a party of 9 all experienced travellers from different parts of the world and not one could say there was something missing. The scenery is stunning especially from the tower which my wife and I had ( great for sunset aperitivos!!) and would recommend grabbing the tower however the main house had everything you could want, all large bedrooms with individual bathrooms, a very well stocked kitchen that had every pot pan and plate you could think of (if you like us all cook) and a perfect sized dinning table inside and out to sit and chat and drink lots of red wine !!
And a special mention to Rosado the owner, a true Italian gentleman !! The perfect host, always there if we needed him (not that we did) and can arrange anything you need.

We could not have been happier with our stay at Villa Cafaggio! My partner and I stayed with our immediate families (14 adults) and there was plenty of room! The separate apartments allowed each couple to have the space they need while still having wonderfully large gathering areas outside and in. The apartments were clean and stocked with basic cookware. We had an intimate wedding ceremony overlooking the gorgeous Tuscan hills and could not have picked a more perfect place! Matteo, Oana, and the other staff persons at the villa went above and beyond to meet every need of our party and set up beautiful lights and decorations. We also arranged a catered wedding dinner through Matteo and it was delicious with numerous courses and flowing with wine. We were so glad to book breakfast for our party, which was delightful meats and cheeses and pastries and the coffee needed to start the day. There was a well stocked grocery store within 15 minutes and numerous restaurants to choose from nearby. It felt perfectly secluded, but very accessible. We all can’t wait for the opportunity to return to their lovely oasis!

We had the best week at Villa Le Ferrette! The villa is in a great location and has fantastic views. We sat by the pool, played soccer, had ping pong tournaments and cooked meals almost every night! The owner, Stefano, was very hospitable! He helped secure the chef, musician and photographer for my birthday party and was available to answer any questions throughout our stay. We had plenty of room for our large group and we were very comfortable. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which is nice. I highly recommend the villa plus Stefano is the best!
