We had a fabulous week at captannina it is set in a wonderful location you have to go there to appreciate it the owners could not have been more helpful in every way from organising a taxi to offering fresh eggs it is a working vineyard and olive grove but they always had time to talk with us and give information on the area .

Set in a beautiful area with stunning views across beautiful vineyards and olive groves. Quiet, peaceful and just lovely! The little cottage we were in is well equipped , private and ideal for two, Alessio the manager is efficient and helpful and our stay was a great success. One suggestion though, directions to find the property could be improved and a roadside sign indicating the track down to the property would be really useful. We arrived after dark and drove straight passed the entrance on the first run!

Das Haus ist wunderbar und gepflegt. Der Pool wird jeden Tag gereinigt und ist von der Größe großzügig geschnitten und abfallenden, so dass Kinder im vorderen Teil stehen können. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, es gibt keine spuehlmaschine. Das Haus liegt auf einem Hügel mit wunderschönem Blick über die toskanische Landschaft und absoluter ruhe. Das Haus befindet sich in abgeschiedener Lage ca 30 Autominuten von Voltera entfernt, dort befindet sich der nächste Supermarkt und Bäcker. Trotz Navigation ist das Haus extrem schwer zu finden, bitte auf gute Anfahrtsbeschreibung achten! Bei unserem Aufenthalt im September 2014 hatten wir eine furchtbare Mückenplage, man sollte vorsorglich Abwehrspray einpacken.Wir hatten sehr schöne Urlaubstage, Peter, Susan und Philipp aus Stuttgart zu

Wonderful place - close to Sienna,Florence & Arezzo (and few outlets :-) for wifes.
Nice house with good swimming-pool and by evening you can play at tennis court.
If we back to Tuscany (for sure we back) we suppose to back here.
