You can't go wrong booking this villa! From ambience, cleanliness to the absolute perfect location in Chianti you will thoroughly enjoy your stay! The hosts were helpful and courteous!

Lovely old farmhouse, nice pool and great views. AC in one of the bedrooms did not work well,even though most of the evenings we didn't really need it. Would have preferred if there were more screens in all of the windows and directions on how to use washing machine and dishwasher in English would have been nice too.
Lastly, the overall location was not as favorable as we would have liked. First, the road to the house was a little scary and distance to some of the other towns, was a little too far away.

Staying at Casa Ivan was the highlight of my trip to Italy. We rented the house for three weeks and used it as our homebase, coming back to it after a few days in different places around Italy. We were always very eager to get back to Cortona and Casa Ivan. The family who owns the home and live upstairs are the kindest people I've ever met and made us all feel at home and part of the family. We had wonderful baked goods, special treats, espresso in the afternoons in the kitchen upstairs. It was just a treat to be at Casa Ivan. I am already planning my return trip, they family truly strives to make their home feel like your second home. They are very successful at doing this and making you feel part of the family. The house is so comfortable, the grounds beautiful, the location relaxing. I can't get back soon enough!

The week I spent in Molin Vecchio was fantastic. The owners are really nice and friendly, and the house is beautifully preserved with lots of space in the appartments (app. Orzo). The surrounding of the house is also beautiful, especially the pool area and you virtually have no neighbours on the property. The location is ideal for visiting the biggest Tuscany and Umbrian attractions (Siena, Arezzo, Cortona, Perugia, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Pienza, Assisi, etc. around 50km away or less).

Beautiful, clean, quiet. Guido is an excellent host. I think the cleaning fee is exhorbitant. No wi-fi.
