We stayed 7 nights from 1-8 September 2012. This is a beuatifully furnished property and a perfect location only a few minutes walk from the town centre. The facilities were great although the kitchen was rather small to cater for people but this was a minor draback and didn't spoil our stay. The owner and people looking after the property were friendly and helpful especially when we asked asked if another 2 people could stay in a house advertsied as sleeping up to 7.It also had good secure offstreet parking. Th dining outside and availability of a pool made the holiday a fantastic experience.

The villas are nice, not really suitable for very small children, there is a very steep slope and no protection around the pool. basic needs not provided, like toilet paper, washing up liquid etc., we had to ask for it repeatedly. The owners house is very close, basically overlooking the villas. Lucignano is a lovely little town, and it is within walking distance, but the path from the villas is all gravel and the walk is not the easiest.

[Counter comment from the owners] Villa Ulivi was fully equipped with toilet paper as always ,we have children all summer with no problems , the walk to the town is gravel as all the villas in the Tuscan country side.

We really enjoyed our stay at La casina di Manu. The apartement was excellent and so clean! It looked like we were the first ones to stay there. The owner was really friendly and helpfull. We got a lot of fresh tomatoes from the vegtable garden and basil. All in alll....a great holiday in beautiful Toscany! I would really recommend La casina di Manu to everyone who is looking dor a nice place to stay.
