For my 40th birthday I invited 32 friends for a week in Tuscany. Stefano and Sergio did not let me down. The two dinners they cooked with appertivo was spectacular. The assistance and support for my guests and myself was first rate. Many thanks! Trevor Tay-London

New Review Submitted for Villa Bertagni located in Castelnuovo Di Garfagnana, Tuscany, Italy.

Rental Date: Saturday 5th of September 2009.
Renter Rating: 5/5.
Review Details:
What a great place; besides the sheer opulence of the villa my family and I loved the location. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle to relax yet close enough to go to the cities of Florence and Pisa. The owner could give lessons in hospitality. What a great person and someone who know how to make you feel welcome. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I also would strongly recommend this villa to anyone who wants to visit this area of Italy

New Review Submitted for Portole: Portole 2 located in Cortona, Tuscany, Italy.

Rental Date: Saturday 5th of September 2009.
Renter Rating: 5/5.
Review Details:
Portole 2 is a lovely villa. beautifully decorated and maintained with everything you can ask for. The views from the property are spectacular and it is very remote. The pool is lovely but a bit of a climb up about 50 steps but its worth it for the view at the top. We were greeted at the villa with cakes and later on in the week we were given eggs, tomatoes and wine as a gift from the owner. A very peaceful getaway which is only a short, if very windy drive from Cortona. A car is essential here!! A lovely property in a superb location. Spotlessly clean too!!

New Review Submitted for Casale Giulio located in Cetona, Tuscany, Italy.

This villa is beautiful! It sits up on a hill with gorgeous views. When you turn into the long driveway there is a long line of Cypress trees on both sides lining the drive. We mostly lived in the back room which has glass on 3 sides. The inside is very clean, lots of windows & has 3 bathrooms. It has a lot of personal items which make it a home, as opposed to the usual rental properties. It was love at first sight. When I was first looking I hestitated due to the lack of references & the open availability (meaning it wasn't a popular rental). But I found out when I arrived that it is a fairly new rental due to a death in the family. The owners & housekeeper were very nice & extremely helpful. Judy P, Boynton Beach, FL

New Review Submitted for Casa Di Vignolo located in Pergine Valdarno, Tuscany, Italy.

Rental Date: Friday 4th of September 2009.
Renter Rating: 5/5.
Review Details:
Just arrived home from Italy at 2:00 this morning. The villa was absolutely everything we imagined and more. From the small Italian village feel to the 18 century villa we could not have ask for much more. If your looking for the real Italian experience this is the place. The baker, produce lady, the butcher and the grocery store women were all so nice and spoke some English. The location was great, we visited Rome in 2 hours, venice in 3 hours and Florence by car 45 minutes and by train 1.5 hours but it was very easy and comfortable. Marina and Francesco were great the only small draw back was the upper shower could not get warm water due to the lack of rain in the region but that was not there fault. We were unable to attend the cooking lesson which we so wanted to go to but we did not see Florence as good as we wanted to so we had to cancel. Overall A+++ we will return.
