The property is lovely. The place was clean and the pool and view were great. My only complaints were there were many stink bugs in the house that we had to deal with. Also the kitchen is stocked with some supplies but items like olive oil, salt, pepper, aluminium foil, etc. would be helpful for a traveler.

We wanted to rent a real old Tuscan villa with our children, grandchildren, family and friends. Already a year ago we were in love with the photos we saw of Villa Silvia, however the arrival with 12 degrees and rain in the very cold villa, was a bit disappointed. The typical Italian uninviting white (dentist) lighting did not make it more atmospheric apart from some minor defects. Now 1 month later we look back on a fantastic period that exceeded our expectations; what a beautiful villa, richly equipped with cupboards, paintings, books and other decorations and what a pleasure to sit in the large attractive garden where there is always shade and sun with a beautiful view. The Tuscan sun heated up the large pool fairly quickly and the same for the temperature in the whole house, because it was cold in the beginning. With great pleasure and gratitude we look back on a month of Villa Silvia, “a place to love”.

Sehr schönes Haus in traumhafter Lage, das Highlight war der Pool. Freundliche Vermieter. Wir hatten eine erholsame Ferienwoche. Es gibt nix zu meckern. :)

Everything was excellent, the house, the wiew and the garden whith the pool. It was very nice and clean, and the housekeeper was very helpfull and kind. The location is tranquil, and yet it is only a walking distance to the town with shops and restaurants. We recommend it warmly.
