Wir hatten 1 wunderschönen Familien-Urlaub in 1 sehr netten u
familienfreundlichen Toscana- Unterkunft.
Wir konnten von der Frühstücks-Terrasse zum Swimmingpool mit unseren
spielenden Kindern hinuntersehen, - wir hatten für unsere Bedürfnisse mit
Kindern unterschiedlichsten Alters das ideale Ferienhaus gefunden.
Ich war freudigst überrascht, wie großzügig die Ferien-Unterkunft mit allen
wichtigen Gebrauchsgegenständen eingerichtet war. Alles war reichlich
vorhanden, Geschirrtücher, Geschirr, Besteck, sogar Flaschen-u Dosenöffner,
- genügend WC-Papier, Besen, Putzlappen….- sogar Rest-Geschirrmittel, Salz,
Zucker, Mehl, Öl waren noch von den Vorgängern vorhanden, das erlebte ich
nur hier u in keiner anderen Ferien- Unterkunft!

Die Hausbesitzerin war sehr nett u sympathisch, wir sahen sie mehrmals am
Tage, wenn sie im nächstliegenden Weingarten mit ihren Kindern arbeitete.
Sie lud uns ein, bei der Weinlese mit unseren Kindern mit zuhelfen. Die
Kinder schnitten mit Begeisterung die Trauben ab, am meisten Ausdauer zeigte
aber der 2-jährige Theo, der trotz Hitze noch immer ernten wollte, obwohl
die größeren Kinder schon im Swimmingpool zur Abkühlung waren.

Auch die anderen Mieter waren sehr nett – hier fanden sich Menschen mit
ähnlichen Urlaubsbedürfnissen zusammen, - auch die kinderlosen Feriengäste
hatten Spaß an den hier spielenden Kindern u fühlten sich nicht gestört,
sondern nahmen wohlwollenden Kontakt zu unseren Kindern auf.

This great old villa was a good choice for our group of 12 cyclists. Lots of room, plenty of bedrooms, and a great place for the bikes and cars. The dining room is easily the best space in the villa, 12 for dinner with plenty of room left over. All the china, silverware and glasses matched so the table set for dinner was a great sight. The wine (maybe from the owner's vineyard) was an nice addition, just have a bottle from the sideboard and they add it to the settlement at the end. The views are spectacular and those that used the pool said it was a wonderful place. The caretaker offered her cooking services so we did that one night and it was a great meal at a great price. One negative is the beds. We stayed in the "master bedroom" and the bed was old and collapsing, quite a disappointment for a week's stay. I thought ours might be the only worn out bed but others had the same situation. The other tacky parts of the villa could easily be accepted as "quaint" and old but worn out beds aren't much fun after a day of cycling. I think the internet service is spotty in rural Italy overall but in the villa the only access point was in the kitchen and it only worked in the kitchen. On the bright side, it did create a good group gathering place! The wine bistro around the corner was really nice after a day's ride, the staff was great and the wine very good. If they take care of the bed issue we'd all come back for another trip.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Le Volte unit. It was close to the "town square" (just a 3 or 4 minute walk) where we enjoyed going to market day on Tuesday and getting gelato and cappuccino daily. The owner, Roberto, was very helpful in ensuring we had what we needed and pointing us to the sights we needed to see. There was so much to see within 45 minutes of the villa. The villa was just as described and pictured on the website. Would certainly stay there again

Die Unterkunft entspricht genau den abgebildeten Fotos. Unkomplizierte und verlässliche Buchungsabläufe. Sehr netter und zuvorkommender Eigentümer. Traumhafte Ausblicke durch die großen Panoramafenster im Wohn-/Esszimmer. Moderne Badezimmer im Untergeschoss. Sehr großer Pool mit schönen Liegen und blühendem Garten umgeben. Oliven- und Feigenbäume sowie Weinreben direkt zum Greifen nah rund um das Haus. Ausflüge nach Lucca, Florenz, Siena, San Gimignano, ins Chiantigebiet und ans Meer alle in ca. 1 Stunde gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen diese schöne Unterkunft sehr gerne weiter.

The property is exactly so as shown in the pictures. Uncomplicated and reliable booking procedures. Very nice and accommodating owner. Fantastic views through the large panoramic windows in the living / dining room. Modern bathroom on the ground floor. Very large pool with comfortable beach chairs and surrounded by blooming garden. Olive and fig trees as well as grape vines directly to grasp around the house. Excursions to Lucca, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, the Chianti area and the seaside all in about 1 hour by car. We felt very comfortable and recommend this nice accommodation very gladly.
