Excellent 5 /5Palazzo Roasadi is a great place for a group of friends. The garden / lawn was meticulously kept. Beautiful flowers, outdoor gathering areas. Fantastic view of the valley below and Monterchi. Family owned since 1700's. Painstakingly restored to give you a glimpse of Tuscan life. You can tell the family is proud of the home and their heritage.
Owner was there every morning to help with any questions we had. Arranged bicycles for us (they were delivered, fit to us and picked up when we were finished). Helped us with places to go (best Tuscan towns in the area), restaurant reservations, places to find food, etc. Owner's father cooked us a fantastic welcoming "Tuscan" dinner (complete with wine). Gave us history of the house, history of the area, etc.
Grounds were excellent. At the top of a hill in a small village. Great area to run, hike, walk or bike nearby. Our group travels one or twice per year together and we were very lucky to have found Palazzo Rosadi! We typically do not return to the same area each year, but if we did, we would definitely return to Palazzo Rosadi! Locals were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had a wonderful vacation! Specialy thanks to the owners for their hosptiality. We felt that we were visiting friends more than paying guests!Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes
