Excellent 5 /5We spent a wonderful 12 nights here in August. The accommodation was basic (only added to the charm for us) in beautiful grounds and was super clean. The pool area was lovely and relaxing and a welcome treat in between all our exploring. The owners were so welcoming and accommodating despite our mutual language barriers (we promise to learn more Italian next time!) the surrounding area is absolutely stunning! Pitigliano is only a few minutes drive and took my breath away each time we visited. Saturnia hot springs are also close by and a must see. Plenty of places to venture just a little further too also including Lake Bolsensa (recommend pre booking a boat rental) and Monte Argentario. If you don’t mind a little more driving Rome, Siena, Montepulciano, to name a few, are all easily accesible. We had an amazing trip. This accommodation was a great base and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
