Very Good 4 /5We had an enjoyable two week stay at Villa Dante - the property is well maintained and accurately described. We enjoyed the pool, the wonderful views and quiet surroundings. Davide, who welcomed us, was very friendly and helpful. Though I had previously read the review about the precipitous roads leading to the property I’d thought that the reviewer was probably exaggerating…. but no, there were many hairpin bends and narrow roads - and the driveway was even more daunting! Quite a challenge for us in our mid-sized rental - a smaller car would have made it easier to negotiate but we needed luggage space for 4 adults so needed something a bit bigger. This is an ideal setting for peaceful contemplation, high in the Tuscany hills, rather than a base for frequent excursions involving those bends!
