Please note that the photographs of the garden were taken in spring, and therefore the flowering and grass colours may differ from what you observe upon arrival. The crown jewel of the outdoor space is the pool area, reached from the house via a short, level path of approximately 15 metres. The expansive sunbathing terrace, paved in travertine, is generously equipped with sunbeds, deckchairs, and tables, and at its centre lies a striking free-form swimming pool spanning 110 square metres, with a varying depth of 70 to 150 cm. The pool is lined in PVC, features Roman steps, and is maintained with chlorine purification. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. Completing this exceptional area are 2 hydromassage pools: one with a rounded shape that is heated, and one with a square shape measuring 4 x 4 metres, which can be heated on request. Both offer a breathtaking vantage point from which to admire the sweeping landscapes of the Crete Senesi that surround the property.

Close to the entrances of the house, a dedicated outdoor dining area features a table sheltered by a large umbrella alongside a stone barbecue, perfect for long alfresco meals in the open air. The vast park, extending across approximately 3 hectares, transitions naturally into dense woodland at the rear of the property, directly accessible from the garden and crossed by numerous walking paths where glimpses of hares, porcupines, and roe deer can be enjoyed. The non-heated swimming pool, open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October, is positioned on a terrace at a lower level approximately 15 metres from the house, reached via a short flight of steps and a paved pathway across the lawn. Measuring 6 x 9 metres with a constant depth of 1.50 metres, the pool is lined in PVC, features a wooden edge and a ladder for water access, and is equipped with a chlorine purification system. The surrounding stone-paved sunbathing area is bordered by hedges and furnished with sunbeds and an umbrella. Adjacent to the pool, a wisteria-covered pergola provides a shaded and relaxing retreat with a table and chairs, and a cold-water shower is also available for your convenience. Description
In 1996 we moved to the Crete Senesi and we fell in love with this farmhouse Etruscan origins, medieval mill, peace and tranquillity. That’s why we decided to share it with our guests and their four-legged friends.
The farm keeps the whole family busy: Alessandro (biologist, nature guide and Sommelier), Elisa who looks after the administration, Mauro and Paola, retired but full time busy on the farm. And we hope that in the future even Emma and Guido will give us a helping hand.
We produce vegetables and fruit, olive oil and truffles from organic agriculture.
For our guests we organize a rich programme of initiatives discovering the colours and flavours of the Crete, wine tasting in our cosy winery and excursions by bike guided by Alessandro who is fond of cycling.
