A large pergola positioned in front of the kitchen, framed by vines of passionflower and roses, serves as the primary outdoor living area, housing a relaxation corner with a sofa and armchairs alongside a table for outdoor dining. A built-in barbecue and an outdoor kitchen are located a short distance away, making al fresco entertaining both easy and enjoyable. An additional swimming pool, available but not for the exclusive use of guests, is located approximately 50 meters from the farmhouse, near the annex where the owners reside. This pool has a rectangular shape measuring 12x6 meters with a variable depth ranging from 1.20 meters to 1.70 meters, and is also equipped with a cold water outdoor shower and a generous sunbathing area planted with lawn.
It should be noted that photo shoots are typically taken in spring, and therefore the colors and blooms of the gardens, lawns, and surrounding areas may differ at the time of your arrival.

In about 30 minutes by car you will be able to reach Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance. City of the ancient Medici family, a heritage not to be missed, with its artistic masterpieces, the colourful marble of the churches and the lofty architecture, the ancient bridges over the Arno river and the majestic noble palaces with their immense gardens adorned with fountains, sculptures, grottoes, staircases and paths.
The villa is divided into three independent flats, in one of which on the ground floor there is a double bedroom with a bathroom suitable for persons with disabilities. The structure was born from the recovery of old farm outbuildings close to the main house where the owners live, who will be, albeit in a discreet manner, a point of reference for all your needs.
The owners, thanks to careful renovation using traditional materials such as wood, terracotta and stone and comfortable furnishings, have ensured that the villa is perfect for spending a comfortable and restful holiday.
Villa Le Balze overlooks on one side a wooden porch, equipped with table and chairs and perfect for your dinners and evenings in company, and the lush garden where you will have a barbecue and a table tennis. On the other side, the house overlooks the swimming pool area (size 6x12 m, depth 1.40 m - open from 10 May to 15 September), which is completely fenced off and for the exclusive use of guests.
At Agriturismo Le Balze you can taste and purchase excellent wine and extra-virgin olive oil, vegetables, fruit, and all the products of the farm. In addition, on the ground floor of the house where the owners live you will find a small restaurant (maximum 25 seats), open both to the public and to guests of the villa. Located south of Siena on the edge of the Crete Senesi, the property enjoys a tranquil, panoramic position inside a large farm (400 hectares) that produces wine and olive oil. Magnificent view of the countryside, characterized by the rolling hills of the Val D’Orcia and the city of Siena on the horizon. The apartments are furnished in a comfortable, rustic style. Outside, guests may use a charming, partially covered terrace (110m2) with a beautiful view.
The property can also be rented in its entirety for small groups, in which case guests may use a large, shared common room with kitchen.

The Agriturismo Le Balze is located in the heart of the Alto Valdarno, at the foot of Pratomagno, and 4 km from the village of Castelfranco di Sopra. The nearest shops and supermarkets can be found in Montevarchi or San Giovanni Valdarno, about 10 km away. Here, in the small, pretty towns, you can spend an evening out for dinner or organise an aperitif with friends.
The property is divided into three apartments resulting from the restoration of old farm outbuildings close to the main house where the owners live. Traditional materials such as wood, terracotta and stone were used in the renovation carried out to maintain the building's rural and peasant origins. All the apartments overlook a wooden porch on one side, where you will have your own private space equipped with table and chairs to spend the cool summer evenings at dinner or with your family or friends.
In the large, green garden you will have a practical barbecue and a table tennis. The swimming pool in common use is located at the back of the building (size 6x12 m, depth 1.40 m - open from 10 May to 15 September) and is completely fenced. Laundry and ironing facilities in a common room.
At Agriturismo Le Balze you can taste and buy excellent wine and extra-virgin olive oil, vegetables, fruit, and all the farm's products. The property is entirely fenced and extends across approximately 2,500 square metres of predominantly flat, manicured lawn surrounded by a splendid olive grove, offering guests a generous yard in which to enjoy the tranquillity of the Umbrian and Tuscan countryside. The outdoor spaces of La Villetta di Dante are nothing short of spectacular, designed to make the most of the property's privileged natural setting and panoramic vistas. Immediately outside the French windows of the dining room, lounge, and kitchen, a large pergola with a wooden-beamed roof provides a shaded and inviting space for outdoor dining, furnished with benches and a table. Sunbeds are arranged at the poolside, offering the perfect spot to sip an apéritif or simply relax in the sun. As evening falls, external lights positioned at various strategic points throughout the garden create a magical and romantic atmosphere, both around the pool and across the wider grounds, making al fresco dinners beneath the stars an unforgettable experience.
The centrepiece of the outdoor area is the beautiful, panoramic, sand-coloured rectangular swimming pool, reserved exclusively for guests and situated only 6 metres from the house. The non-heated pool measures 5x10 metres, with a depth ranging from 1.20 to 1.50 metres, and features a salt purification system that ensures clean and gentle water throughout the season. Access to the water is provided via Roman steps on one side, and the pool is equipped with both internal and external lighting. A relaxing whirlpool area and an unusual waterfall add a distinctive touch of luxury to the bathing experience. The surrounding paved border, 1.50 metres wide, is furnished with umbrellas and sunbeds, and a hot and cold-water shower is also available poolside. The pool is open and accessible to guests from the last Saturday of April until the last Saturday of October.

Two French windows on this level provide direct access to the portico and the swimming pool beyond, flooding the space with natural light and connecting the interior seamlessly to the outdoors. The ground floor is further completed by 2 double bedrooms, one of which features divisible beds offering flexible sleeping arrangements, and a bathroom with shower. A wooden staircase descends from the ground floor to a dedicated laundry room.
