If you decide to spend your holiday at Villa Leopoldina, you can stay in a historic building, a splendid example of a typical Tuscan house designed in the 18th century by the architects of Grand Duke Leopold of Lorraine, with the characteristic four overlapping arches on the façade. It will be a plunge into the past, when families were very numerous and these huge homes housed several generations under the same roof.
In front of the villa you will find the private garden and on the right-hand side the beautiful swimming pool (size 12x5 m, depth 1.40 m, completely enclosed - open from 01st May to 30th September). From here, every day, you can enjoy a splendid panoramic view over the city of Arezzo and its valleys, a view that becomes even more suggestive at night with the thousands of tiny lights that seem to chase each other. You will reach the centre of Arezzo in less than 10 minutes by car and here you will find all the necessary amenities and services, as well as museums, magnificent churches, cathedrals and monuments to visit.
One of the villa's bonuses is certainly its location. It is located within the Pomaio winery, a renowned winery that produces its excellent wines following the rules of eco-sustainability. Pomaio is listed as one of the 13 most beautiful Design Cellars in the Region of Tuscany for the Toscana Wine Architecture project, and this Green philosophy was also followed for the renovation of the villa. In fact, thanks to the materials used, the villa has a high energy-saving rating, with positive effects both for the environment and for those who stay there in all seasons.
Therefore, in addition to living in the midst of an almost enchanted place, amidst splendid rows of vines that slope down towards the silhouette of the city, you will be able to taste the excellent wines in the wine cellar when you feel like taking a little walk and reaching it.

You will have two fully equipped kitchens, a washing machine and a dryer on each floor, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and satellite TV. Rectangular in shape and measuring 10 x 5 metres, with a depth ranging from 1.10 to 2.00 metres, the non-heated pool is lined in PVC and features chlorine purification, internal lighting, and a metal ladder for safe water access. The surrounding pool area, elegantly paved in stone and brick, is furnished with sunbeds, a table, chairs, umbrellas, and a solar shower, creating the perfect environment for relaxing summer days. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October.

Villa dei Fiori blends rustic charm with modern comfort across its 2 floors. On the ground floor, guests are welcomed by a bright and spacious living room featuring large glass doors, sweeping countryside views, and a beautiful stone fireplace alongside a dining table. A fully equipped kitchen with wooden beams and local details provides everything needed to enjoy home-cooked meals. A double bedroom and a bathroom with shower also complete the ground floor. An internal staircase leads to the first floor, where 2 additional double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower are located. Please note that the internal staircase leading to the 2 bedrooms on the first floor has no railing, therefore children up to 12 years of age must be constantly supervised. Air conditioning is available in the living area and in the upstairs bedrooms, ensuring a cool and comfortable stay during the summer months, and is included in the rental price. Heating is metered and billed according to consumption. Final cleaning is included in the rental price. A refundable security deposit of 300,00 euros is required upon arrival and will be returned before departure, less any charge in case of damage. Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 9:30. Late check-in after 6:00 PM until 11:00 PM is available upon request, and check-in later than 11:00 PM must be organized in advance and may require additional fees. A tourist tax of 8,00 euros per person per night applies for the first 4 nights, with children under 12 years of age exempt. Upon request, a range of additional services is available, including a Cook Service, Cooking classes, and a Personalized concierge service to book tours, tickets, restaurant reservations, and assist with daily planning. The team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via an emergency contact provided at check-in.

Podere I Gigli is a farmhouse just a few steps away from the centre of Castiglion Fiorentino, which you can easily reach on foot in less than 10 minutes when you want to stretch your legs. The railway station, which is 500 metres from the property, is also within easy reach and makes the house particularly suitable for all types of travel should you wish to visit Tuscany and Central Italy without taking a car.
The farm mainly produces cereals, but around the house you can also enjoy the view of vineyards, olive groves and fruit trees. The owners will be happy to let you taste and buy their pure Sangiovese wine, extra virgin olive oil and other products of the farm, proudly handed down from father to daughter.
The house is surrounded by a large, well-kept garden, shaded and filled with flowers and plants. In the relaxation area, furnished with table and chairs, you can comfortably enjoy your meals in the open air. At the back of the house, in a sunny position, there is a swimming pool measuring 4.5x9m, 1.50m deep and completely fenced ( open from 15 May to 30 September) for the safety of your children.
Another corner that we think you will appreciate is the sun terrace on the first floor, where you will find a small lounge with a sun umbrella, table and chairs, ideal for aperitifs in the cool of summer evenings.
There is also a vegetable garden with fresh seasonal vegetables that you can pick daily.
Podere I Gigli is an old stone farmhouse, dating back to the early 1900s, which has recently been renovated and brought back to life while maintaining the structure, which still exudes ancient history and farming traditions.
