In case of cancellation of the booking, even if it is substituted by another one, the following penalties apply:
- the initial deposit (25% of total rent) if the cancellation is made between booking time up to 46 days before arrival date;
- 100% of total rental price if the cancellation is made from 45 days to arrival date or in case of no show.

We hebben een heel fijn rustig verblijf gehad in Villa Barbara. Een heerlijke ruime villa met heel mooi zwembad en een prachtig uitzicht kilometers ver over Toscane. Op diverse plekken zijn leuke zitjes gemaakt of lekkere loungeplekken. De keuken is wat donker, maar daarom ook wel lekker koel.
De laatste 3 kilometer naar de Villa is wel wat lastiger te rijden. Je hebt dan ook wel een geschikte auto nodig. Het is een prima uitvalsbasis naar diverse mooie steden en dorpjes in Toscane en er zijn ook voldoende restaurantjes in de omgeving.
De eigenaar is erg behulpzaam en goed bereikbaar.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at Villa Barbara. It's a lovely, spacious villa with a beautiful pool and stunning views stretching for miles across Tuscany. There are cozy seating areas and comfortable lounge areas in various spots. The kitchen is a bit dark, but that's why it's nice and cool.
The last 3 kilometers to the villa are a bit more challenging to drive, so you'll need a suitable car. It's an excellent base for exploring several beautiful towns and villages in Tuscany, and there are plenty of restaurants in the area.
The owner is very helpful and easily accessible.

Mooi huis met ruime tuin er rond en zeer mooi zwembad met prachtig uitzicht op de Toscaanse heuvels. Huis is nogal donker binnenin, door de manier waarop het gebouwd werd op de heuvel.
Ligt wel vrij afgelegen (3 KM op een grintweg die we moeilijk gevonden hadden) dus toch telkens een eind rijden voor winkels en bezienswaardigheden.
De gastheren (familie Magnozzi, eigenaars van het ganse domein Il Gattero) zijn zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij.
Zwembad is niet verwarmd en was bij ons (september 9 tem 23) toch wel zeer koud.
Aankomst op zondag (niet verplicht op zaterdag dus) was voor ons aangenaam.
Routebeschrijving in het Nederlands is niet OK, we hebben een uur vruchteloos rondgereden om het te vinden, en uiteindelijk in het dorp de weg moeten vragen.

Villa Barbara was a wonderful way to experience Tuscany! The owner was helpful and friendly, the apartment was very clean and a typical Tuscan home. The pool was an added bonus and the views breathtaking! I would come back again and recommend it to everyone.
