The property is composed of a main villa and 2 separate annexes, all beautifully appointed with antique furnishings that lend an air of timeless elegance throughout.
In the main villa, the ground floor welcomes guests through an entrance hall leading to a loggia, as well as a large 32 m2 room where an arch gracefully separates a billiard area from a living room. On the upper floor, a small lounge area with an open-hearth fireplace and satellite TV provides a cosy retreat. This level also houses 4 double bedrooms, 1 of which features its own open-hearth fireplace, and 1 twin bedroom. 2 of the double bedrooms are each equipped with a private shower, bidet, and WC, while 2 additional shower, bidet, and WC facilities are also available on this floor. One of the bedrooms offers access, at a height of 1.2 m, to a loft room furnished with a rattan lounge. An extra single bed can be added to 1 of the bedrooms for an additional charge. Een fantastische plek, super vriendelijke ontvangst en ook tijdens de hele huurperiode erg goed contact met Paula. Het grote huis maar ook de andere twee woningen waren netjes, gezellig ingericht van alle gemakken voorzien. Zwembad werd regelmatig schoongemaakt en is een fijne plek om te zijn. Genoeg bedjes en stoelen.

Our stay at Villa Poggio Cuccule was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of Tuscany, this property offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Paola. the warm, generous, and endlessly gracious owner, whose hospitality elevated our entire experience.
The villa itself is immaculate: clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Each of the three houses on the property is beautifully equipped, offering privacy and comfort while still feeling connected to the larger estate. The big kitchen quickly became our favorite gathering spot, filled with laughter, wine, and the irresistible aroma of homemade pizza from the outdoor oven (which we used constantly!).
There’s so much to do onsite, from relaxing under olive trees to exploring the grounds and the peaceful atmosphere makes it hard to leave. That said, if you plan to explore the surrounding area, we strongly recommend having a car. The walk to town is about 90 minutes and absolutely stunning, but it’s not for everyone. There is a bus, though it runs only twice a week with one trip per day.
Still, none of that detracts from the experience. Villa Poggio Cuccule is a slice of heaven, and Paola is the heart of it. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already dreaming of our return.
