Le Casine is a lovely stone building with private pool, air conditioning and WiFi internet. The property can sleep up to 34 people comfortably in 17 bedrooms with 15 bathrooms. Conveniently located 2 km (1 mi) from Segromigno In Monte, Italy in the tourist area "Lucca And Surroundings" and only 14 km (9 mi) from Lucca. If playing a round of golf is important while on vacation, you are in luck because there is a course nearby. In nearby towns there are local shops where you can find fresh produce and other items, but if you need a larger shopping center there is one located only 7 km (4 mi) from the property where you can purchase groceries and essentials.

Your Experience
This lovely small hamlet represents a unique possibility for large groups wishing to holiday together yet retaining some privacy. The accommodation is split in five units all with their own kitchen and all bedrooms have A/C. The hamlet can comfortably fit up to 34 people, but even larger groups up to 70 people can be accommodated with the rental of three other large villas available on the estate. The setting is an ideal place for special events such as indoor and outdoor wedding reception venues with superb buffets, which can be arranged on a panoramic terrace or in a beautiful equipped greenhouse. The guests of Le Casine may also benefit of a restaurant service during their stay, available on request at a close villa on same estate. The English-speaking staff at the local office on the estate is at guests' disposal for any assistance needed.
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by the owner or manager where you’ll find a nice clean well-maintained property with views of the hills perfect for a peaceful vacation in Tuscany. After a hectic day of sightseeing, spend some time with friends and family poolside enjoying a glass of wine - a perfect way to unwind at the end the day. Outside you will also find a barbecue grill, patio and tennis court. If you enjoy cooking for family and friends there is a well-equipped kitchen including coffee machine, microwave, toaster, stove and refrigerator, as well as, plenty of tableware and cutlery for up to 34 people. If you prefer to dine 'al fresco', there is a fully furnished veranda where you can enjoy the weather while dining outdoors.

Villa Marlia: A Treasure Chest Of A Garden Near Lucca

The Villa Reale, or Villa Marlia, is one of the many beautiful historic estates located in the Tuscan countryside. There are lots of wonderful villas in the area around Lucca, in particular, and this property in an area called Marlia is especially lovely.

A former royal palace with extensive and stunning gardens, it is filled with surprises around every turn and if you have found a luxury villa in Lucca, it is the perfect place to head off for a day trip.

Exploring the grounds, alone, will take up to two hours and if you want to picnic in the gardens (which we recommend) or visit the villa (although it is currently closed for renovation work), you will need additional time. Off the beaten tourist track and away from intense crowds but full of things to see and do, it is the ideal place to wander at your leisure and truly enjoy your downtime while on holidays.

In our last post, we discussed the beautiful Medieval Tuscan town of Collodi and its connection to the creation and tales of beloved character Pinocchio. The biggest attraction in the town is a theme park dedicated to the famous puppet, Pinocchio Park, which is a real highlight of the region for children and adults alike and a great day out.

However, despite the town being relatively small and unheard of, it actually has a couple more attractions that will keep everyone in the group happy and provide a nice break from trips to museums and churches for kids exploring Tuscany and her culture and history. Once you have found a luxury villa in Collodi, these are a few of the things that you will want to check out in the town.

The Tuscan town of Collodi, not far from Florence, is most famous as the place where the beloved children's character Pinocchio was created by author Carlo Collodi and featured in the 1883 book, “The Adventures of Pinocchio”. Propelled into fame on a global scale when the story was made into an animated classic by Disney in 1940, Pinocchio became an integral figure in the lives of many children throughout the world. Those who are particularly fond of the puppet who learned how to become a boy and his story and who have found a luxury villa in Collodi (or who have found a luxury villa in Florence and are planning a day trip to the area) will, no doubt, be sure to plan a trip to the theme park dedicated to character, Pinocchio Park.
