The house was meticulously restored from what were formerly an olive mill and a barn, now connected by a large entrance hall and terrace. The structure makes it ideal for groups of friends looking to spend their holiday in Tuscany together while retaining their own privacy as the house is divided into two different areas. The swimming pool has a salted water filter system which avoids the use of chlorine.
When you arrive you’ll find a lovely clean well-maintained property with views of the hills perfect for a peaceful holiday in Tuscany. For your pleasure you will find a private pool where you can relax while enjoying a nice cold beverage after a hectic day of shopping. If you enjoy cooking for family and friends there is a well-equipped kitchen including coffee machine, microwave, toaster, stove and refrigerator, as well as, plenty of tableware and cutlery for up to 12 people. If you prefer to dine 'al fresco', there is a fully furnished veranda where you can enjoy the weather while dining outdoors.

We had a wonderful stay at La Sorgente in early July. The house is in the most beautiful location, quiet with stunning views over the valley below. The house itself was grand, and also very homely well equipped and very easy to settle into. The pool (gently salted) was well maintained and in a lovely spot. We also made great use of the boules court and the BBQ which were an excellent addition. Would happily go back for a relaxing and premium stay!

This is a substantial and wonderfully equipped property in a beautiful location surrounded by verdant hills. It is not cheap but excellent value for money for up to twelve people.
The hosts are charming and accommodating and it is well worth engaging the local cooking service provided by Marinella.
A lovely pool, with plenty of chairs, was the centre of a lot of kids pleasure and adults too.
There are good local restaurants, all in the house book- the nearest, Castello is basic but provides excellent Tuscan food, especially pasta.
Good supermarket down the hill. This is windy and narrow in places and not for the nervous driver.
Overall, you will find this property, as evidenced in the comments books dating back over ten years, an idyllic retreat and perfect both for the extensive indoor space and the two lovely terraces, ideal for eating or just enjoying a cool drink.Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes
Great relaxing location with fantastic view. Last large kitchen and pool was something we really enjoyed. Around 30 min drive to Lucca or the beach which makes the location very convenient. Also having a good food store in the local village just 10 min away

La Sorgente was paradise in Tuscany| The Villa was very clean and comfortable. Our party of 10 loved all the little sitting areas which meant we had space to ourselves when we needed it. The pool was clean and in a lovely area to sit. The views from the house were stunning and the garden was lovely. We booked Morena for 3 meals which were excellent. Altogether we would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone. Party of 10 from Boulder (US), Calgary (Canada), Essex and Shropshire UK.

La Sorgente is a wonderful property in a beautiful setting. We really enjoyed our time. Our party of eight adults found that there was plenty of space for everyone, so no one felt crowded. It made a great base to explore Tuscany. I am extremely happy that we chose this property. We hired Morena to cook for us for two nights while we were there. She is a wonderful cook and great lady. The meals were superb!
