Outdoors

The outdoor spaces at Crognole are a true highlight of the property, offering a seamless blend of natural beauty and carefully curated comfort. The fully enclosed park forms part of the renowned Tenuta d'Albola estate and features a vast arboreal landscape of towering cypresses, expanses of olive and fruit trees, rose bushes, vases of red geraniums, and low ornamental hedges that line the path from the exclusive entrance gate to the main relaxation and parking areas. A splendid panoramic pergola, located just a few steps from the house, serves as the ideal setting for outdoor dining or leisurely afternoons in the shade, with guaranteed peace and quiet. A mobile barbecue is also available for guests who wish to enjoy al fresco cooking.

The non-heated swimming pool is positioned at the rear of the house, approximately 15 metres away, and is accessed via a short ramp of steps. Rectangular in shape and lined in PVC, the pool measures 5 x 10 metres with a varying depth of 1.20 to 1.90 metres. It is equipped with a chlorine purification system and a metal ladder for safe water access. Surrounding the pool on a well-maintained lawn are sunbeds, deckchairs, umbrellas, a table with chairs, and a solar-powered shower. On one side, the pool area is bordered by an expanse of lawn dotted with olive trees, creating a serene and picturesque atmosphere. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October.

Crognole is a beautifully appointed stone villa spread across 2 floors connected by external stairs, comfortably accommodating up to 6 guests across 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. On the ground floor, accessible via six steps, there is a separate bedroom featuring a divisible double bed and a private bathroom with shower. The upper floor is reached via the external staircase and opens onto a small panoramic terrace furnished with 2 armchairs and a small table, which leads directly into the sitting room. This welcoming living area features comfortable armchairs gathered around a large fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The sitting room connects on one side to the kitchen and dining room, and on the other side to a hallway that leads to 2 further bedrooms. The first is a twin bedroom with joinable beds and a bathroom with shower, and the second is a double bedroom with a divisible bed and an ensuite bathroom with bathtub. A dedicated laundry room is located in an annex adjacent to the pool area.

The castle, which once belonged to important noble Tuscan families, is situated approximately 2 kilometres from the property and is accessible to guests. The entrance gate to the park is reserved for the exclusive use of guests, ensuring privacy and security throughout the stay. Pets are welcome at the property. Please note that the tourism tax applies to guests aged 14 and above, while children under 14 years of age are exempt.
