The grounds of Cottage Dolcevista extend across a gently terraced hillside setting, where outdoor paths, natural stone steps, and organic level changes create a landscape of great charm and privacy. The park, covering approximately 2,000 square meters within a two-metre high perimeter fence, features stony ground adorned with flower beds of medicinal plants and succulents, as well as areas planted with ornamental olive trees. Towards the pool area, a sustainable planting project has introduced singular species of creeping plants suited to dry, sloping soil, helping to minimize water consumption while maintaining the natural beauty of the surroundings. The outdoor dining area, positioned alongside the house, is shaded by an umbrella and offers a comfortable space for alfresco meals. A fixed barbecue is located just a few steps away, making outdoor cooking a natural part of the experience. The above-ground octagonal swimming pool, measuring 6.40 x 3.40 meters with a constant depth of 1.20 meters, is situated approximately 30 meters from the cottage on a lower level, reached via a short sloping path laid with Chianti stones in a distinctive lost steps pattern. The non-heated pool is lined in PVC and equipped with internal lighting, a chlorine purification system, and a wooden ladder for water access. The surrounding solarium area is shaded by oak trees and furnished with sunbeds and deckchairs, while a cold-water shower is conveniently located at the side of the pool. The pool is available from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. Please note that photographs of the property were taken in spring, and the appearance of flowering plants and garden grass may differ at the time of your arrival.

A bathroom with shower, without bidet, is also located on this floor, along with a small storage room used as a laundry area. The first floor hosts 2 double bedrooms and 1 bathroom with shower, bringing the total number of bathrooms to 2. The first floor is also independently accessible from the outside via the parking area side, offering added convenience and flexibility for guests.

Other Information

The rental rate includes utilities covering electricity, water, gas for kitchen use and hot water, as well as weekly linen, initial cleaning, and final cleaning. The property participates in the Zer0Dep Guarantee program, meaning guests are not required to pay a security deposit either on balance or upon arrival. This program includes EuropAssistance coverage in the event of accidental damage caused to the property during the stay, up to a maximum of 1,500.00 euros and subject to the restrictions provided. Access to the property is via a vehicle gate. 2 cars can be parked inside the fenced grounds and 1 additional vehicle can be parked outside. Due to the terraced hillside setting, with outdoor paths, natural stone steps, and sloping terrain, the property may be less suitable for guests with reduced mobility or families with very young children. Pets are welcome at the property. A mandatory extra cleaning fee applies for guests traveling with animals. Tourist tax may apply where applicable.
