Charming former barn carefully restored preserving its original architectural features and the its ancient materials (like the beautiful terracotta—tiled floors). This barn, turned into 2 independent apartments, is in quiet and panoramic location on the hills between Pisa and Florence, in the heart of a 15-hectare estate producing olive oil and wine. The furnishing is cozy, in rustic style with some ancient pieces. The property, enjoying beautiful views over the surrounding landscape, offers a large well-kept lawn and private outdoor areas for all of the 2 units. A nice swimming-pool and a covered terrace are available.
The location is ideal to visit all of the most important art cities in Tuscany as well as the coastline area with nice beaches.
The access to the property is via an unpaved road of approx. 350 m not suitable for sports or low cars.
Distances: Montefoscoli with a food shop 3 km away, Forcoli with all kinds of shops 10 km, golf course (36 holes – open from 01/07) 10 km away, the charming town of Volterra 35 km, San Gimginano approx. 40 km away, Pisa (airport) and Lucca 50 km away, Tirrenia with nice beaches 65 km, Florence and Siena approx. 75 km away, the coastline area of Versilia 90 km.
At guests’ disposal (and to be shared with the owner): large lawn, big lightened swimming-pool (8 x 16 m – depth from 1,3 to 2,8 m – open from 01/05 to 30/09) with covered terrace (table, chairs, sink, small barbecue, fridge 120 liter), dressing-room with toilet, open-air shower (cold water), bowling green and table tennis (approx. 60 m from the house away). Laundry (€ 5,- / per washing). Parking within the grounds.
Extra Services: Baby bed available upon request (free of charge). Maid service available by arrangement (€ 12,- / per hour to be paid on site).
Small pets are allowed.

The structure was built according to the wishes of the internationally renowned Andrea Vaccà Berlinghieri, a physician at the University of Pisa, and dedicated to his father, Francesco, who also worked as a professor of surgery at the university. It was constructed on the picturesque site where Francesco had intended to build a villa.

*Sadly, as of the 1st of August, 2016, the owners of the park decided to close it down due to family reasons.*

Visit the famous and unique Parco Preistorico in the province of Pisa in Tuscany, close to the quaint town of Peccioli. This wonderful history park was founded by the Ghironi family, on whose land, many dinosaur fossils and other interesting archaeological finds were discovered. They decided to research how to create an adventure park based on these monumental excavations and then created the first, and now one of the finest adventure parks in Tuscany!

Sehr schönes, perfekt ausgestattetes Haus in herrlicher Panoramalage. Die Einrichtung hat uns sehr gut gefallen, die Betten waren groß und sehr bequem. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir durch die Eigentümer sehr freundlich empfangen. Seit fast 20 Jahren verbringen wir unseren Urlaub in der Toskana, dieses Haus ist für uns eines der besten dort.
Ein besonderer Dank geht an Cristiana von Easy Reserve. Durch ihre freundliche Hilfe und perfekte Organisation wurde dieser schöne Urlaub erst möglich.
Diese Ferienobjekt kann man zu 100 % weiterempfehlen.

Lavanda enjoys a very peaceful, panoramic Countryside setting. There is nothing much else around except beautiful Tuscan countryside. The House is set is spacious grounds, with a lovely pool setting and gardens. Great for an away from it all break for a while with family and friends.
