Borgo La Casaccia, renovated on 2011, born from a medieval village, It is composed of 12 apartments which retain the original architecture of the 17th century, with the ceiling consists of wooden beams and florentine terra-cotta floors.
At guests' disposal:
La Casaccia is surrounded by a garden of 4600 sq.mt. with the characteristic plants of the Mediterranean: Olive, Oak, Rosemary, Strawberry Mimosa, Broom, etc. ..
In the garden there are two pools: the biggest of 25x5 meters (depth from 1 meter to 2.20 meters) and the smallest of 15x5 meters with separate area for children (depth: 1 m/50 cm) open from First of May to end of September.
At the Borgo La Casaccia you can use the pools and the garden even after you have checked out and left the apartment. An opportunity to relax on your departure day.
The swimming pools are open from the 1st of May to the 30th of September with the following opening times: 9 am - 7 pm.

Smallest:15 x 5 meters (Depth: 0,50 cm / 1 mt)
The garden is completed by gazebo, tables, chairs, umbrellas, barbecue and a small play area for children.

About the location it is important to know that Borgo La Casaccia is only 1 km far from the center of Montaione (with bar / cafe, shops, local products etc. ..), and this ensures the proximity to supermarkets, restaurants (the nearest only 300 mt.) and all necessary amenities.
The village of Montaione is in a strategic position and makes it an excellent starting point for exploring all of Tuscany: Florence and Siena are 1 hour's drive (and reachable by train), Lucca and Pisa are 60 km far , San Gimignano and Volterra, just 30 minutes by car.
Do not forget that even then the wonderful roads of the Chianti region among olive groves and vineyards are part of the holiday!

Unterkunft war geräumig und sauber, Pool sehr schön und im tadellosen Zustand; Im Wohnraum hätte eine bessere Couch vorhanden sein können, kein deutsches TV Programm möglich, mit dem sehr guten WiFi und mitgebrachtem PC/Tablet jedoch kein Problem, Appartment ist weiter zu empfehlen

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Accommodation was spacious and clean, pool very nice and in perfect condition, in the living room a better bed could be present, no German TV programs available, with the very good WiFi and brought along PC / tablet this is no problem though. We can recommend the apartment.

Wir waren mit unserem 19jährigen Sohn nach 1998 zum zweiten Mal im Casaccia. Uns hat es vor 15 Jahren so gut gefallen, dass wir uns noch einmal für einen vierzehntägigen Urlaub entschieden haben. Erstaunlich für uns war, dass wir Anfang Juni die einzigen Gäste waren. Fransesco der Verwalter und glaube ich auch der Inhaber, unterbreitete uns ein Angebot , nicht die gebuchte Wohnung im ersten Geschoss zu nehmen, sondern die fast so doppelt große Wohnung im Erdgeschoss. Wir verbrachten tolle 2 Wochen, in einem für das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis völlig angemessenem Rahmen. Tolle Sonnenuntergänge auf diesem höher gelegenem Plateau und ein immer sauberer Pool machten uns den Urlaub angenehm.
