This lovely rental home was once one of the many from the Buonaparte family of San Minato dating back to the mid 1400's. The present day owner has restored the Tuscan villa, complete with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths and is furnished it in a classical yet comfortable style - perfect for relaxing and enjoying company of friends and family.
It is located on top of a hill in a splendid landscape of Tuscany, encircled by forest, olive groves and vineyards.

It is located near the medieval city of San Miniato (8km) and 1 km from Corazzano village where there are: bars, restaurant, shops, pharmacy and bank.
The villa is 50 km from Pisa Airport 50 from Florence Airport.
The railway station is in San Miniato Basso (10 km) or in Empoli (20 km) to reach: Pisa, Florence, Siena or Leghorn.
Parking within the grounds. Nearby towns include Lucca (50 km), San Gimignano (30 km), Volterra (40 km). There are also a number of activities close by including tennis courts in San Miniato (9 km) golf courses in Castelfalfi 19/27 holes, (20 km), and Golf courses in San Miniato 9 holes (9 km)

It is 10mx5m depth 1.5m open 1 May/30 Sept., equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas, gazebo.
Private fenced garden of about 150 mq in front of the villa and mq 20000 around the pool.

Ground floor: entrance, a big kitchen completly furnished with fireplace, a laundry room (washing-machine, iron, irononing board), a large living room with frescoed ceiling, large diningroom, 1 bathroom with shower.
First floor: 1 bedroom with frescoed ceiling with a double bed, 2 bedrooms (frescoed ceiling) with a double bed (convertible into twin), 1 bedroom with two single beds. 2 bathrooms: one with shower and one with tub.
All of the bedrooms have air conditioning.
Window screens only in the bedrooms.

The initial deposit required to confirm a reservation to be paid at the time of booking (unless there are special conditions in place) is 25% of the total rent amount.

For last-minute bookings (within 60 days of arrival) the full amount must be paid at the time of the booking.

In case of cancellation of the booking, even if it is substituted by another one, the following penalties apply:
- the initial deposit (25% of total rent) if the cancellation is made between booking time up to 61 days before arrival date;
- 100% of total rental price if the cancellation is made from 60 days to arrival date or in case of no show.

We stayed in fall for 10 days there as a group of 8 people. The house is located on a mountain and so it was a bit windy but still great to take a swim in the pool. upstairs where four bedrooms for 8 people and two bathrooms which was perfect for us, downstairs was another room for 2 people, a bathroom, a living room, a kitchen an a dining room. In the kitchen where all utensils you need and towels where also there to use. The house is very nice decorated and so you feel very comfortable in it. Outside was a wonderful garden with a table underneath big trees. For visiting the pool you had to walk about 200 meters. The property of the house was pretty big and beautiful. Next to the Villa Buonaparte is another house which is getting renovated at the time, they started working from monday to friday at 8.00 in the morning which was for a few of our group a bit annoying. All in all we really recommend the house and would book it again.

I booked the villa as a special;l birthday present for my wife so she could enjoy a holiday and the company of our lovely family; 3 daughters, 2 granddaughters and 3 son-in-laws. The villa offered a great base to visit Florence and Pisa - we could also easily have visited Lucca and Siena but chose to enjoy the villa and its facilities. We did however visit and dine out in the beautiful town of San Miniato - a must see town offering interesting buildings and stunning views, oh and great Tuscan food (White Truffle). My wife remarked the photographs on-line did not do the villa justice and was mesmerized by the panoramic views from the villa and enthralled by the lower garden, swimming pool and Table tennis play area. The villa's Barbecue area is good fun and we utilized the facility twice enjoying the night air and playing various card games. I cannot thank the owner enough for the clean, beautiful villa which has an interesting history and lovely rooms and period furniture - the beds were extremely comfortable.
