It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Compignano Barn. What a wonderful place! The entire estate is kept in perfect condition and we couldn't have hoped for a more wonderful stay. The villa is equipped with everything you could hope for or need.
The view from the gardens and terrace is just breathtakingly beautiful and the entire estate is very calm and serene. Do know however that the next villages/shops/restaurants are about 15-20 minutes away by car. A good car is essential as the road to the estate is quite steep and winding. However, the villa and the estate are definitely worth the trip! We had a wonderful time and would definitely consider back for our next visit!
Special thanks to the entire staff at the estate as well as the back office staff. Everyone was so helpful and friendly! Thank you for making our holiday so special!

Good place to relax. Be aware of no german channels on TV, if of interest. Kitchen a bit poorly equipped if you want to cook larger dishes. Very comfortable bed.

We have had a very pleasant stay here. The studio was completely new, nothing failed. The owners Ivanna and Bruno were very kind for us and the view was fantastic.

La situation est idéale (proche de la mer et des grandes ville). La maison est bien équipée (surtout la cuisine) et les extérieurs sont très beaux cependant, il y a 2 problèmes qui ne sont pas des moindres:
- le chemin pour accéder à la maison est très étroit et très abîmé! Toutes nos voitures touchaient et il y en a même une qui a rayé son flanc tellement le passage était étroit.
- les lits et la literie sont à revoir. En effet, les matelas sont tellement fins que nous sentions les ressorts dans notre dos. Il n’y avait pas de couverture (qu’un drap de lit qu’il faisait office de couverture) et les cadres de lit en fer forgé faisaient du bruit des qu’on s’asseyait dessus ou que l’on bougeait un peu.
Malgré ces 2 pépins, nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette maison.

Fantastic villa, fitted to a very high standard. Gardens and pool beautiful and well maintained with a large outdoor dining area. Situated in a very quiet spot on hill with views to Cortona. Can walk to a local pizza restaurant, car needed otherwise. Owner showed us around on arrival and was available to message throughout, although we didn’t need it. I have no hesitation in recommending this villa,

I love this place, this is my third visit and wont be my last.my self and my family had a very relaxing week after a very worrying year,I cant decided wether I like june or september both have been lovely.Both apartments are good and well stocked and comfortable,cant wait for 2021

Unsere drei Tage im Turm waren einfach unvergleichlich. Die Atmosphäre in diesem alten Gemäuer mit der unfassbaren Aussicht von der 42 Meter hohen Dachterrasse werden wir nicht vergessen. Zum Sonnenauf- und Untergang klettert man freiwillig die vielen Stufen, da man keine Sekunde verpassen möchte.
Die Einrichtung ist angenehm modern und sehr praktisch auf die kleinen Räume abgestimmt.
Guilia, die Dame vor Ort hat uns herzlich und professionell betreut.
Vielen Dank für die tolle Umsetzung und die Möglichkeit sich in einem solchem Gebäude aufhalten zu können. Es ist für uns das Highlight gewesen.

We will not forget the atmosphere in these old walls with the incredible view from the 42 meter high roof terrace. At sunrise and sunset you voluntarily climb the many steps because you don't want to miss a second.
The furnishings are pleasantly modern and very practical for the small rooms.
Guilia, the lady on site, looked after us warmly and professionally.
