Had a great holiday, the flat is nice, the bedrooms are large, although the kitchen and living area are narrower. But the terrace is enormous and really peaceful and pretty. Good pool and nice owners.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] San Doninno is truly a paradise. Beautiful location, sunrise and sunset. 360 degree view (180 degrees from the pool) overlooking Siena. Because it is situated on a hill, there is always a little bit of wind so it never gets too hot. The beautifully renovated farmhouse is situated at the end of a gravel road and it's so quiet. Even though it was full (+ / - 22 guests) it did not feel crowdy. The apartment is really excellent. You can use the washing machine and bicycles. The only thing missing is maybe a fan in the bedroom, but you get used to the heat. The owners are great. They are invisible but present and always friendly and helpful. When we were there they organized an evening with all theguests, where we got food and wine without being asked for anything in return. We have bought their wonderful wine and olive oil ! All in all a real top location.Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes

We had a lovely holiday here with our son, his wife and two year old daughter. We had previously stayed here about nine years ago with some other members of our family and also enjoyed it. The appartment is on the first floor and has roomy bedrooms. The shower is very basic but we managed but there was also a bath in another room which was used for our granddaughter. It was very hot while we were there this time and we were very glad of the pool were we met other guests and had a great time with them. We were the only English guests but the other guests (German and Flemish) spoke English and were lovely with our granddaughter. The villa is in a good area for sightseeing and has lovely views. The only real complaint we had about the villa was the road noise which could be quite bad sometimes but we aren't used to it at home so maybe we noticed it more. If you do stay in this area you must go to Certaldo and have a pizza at Il Pirata near the funicular. We ate there most evenings and enjoyed all their meals and very reasonable prices and excellent service.

Fantastic villa. Great area. Great people. Everything was fine but you would expect for such a price an internet connection and a proper TV set and TV channels.

A comfortable and nicely decorated villa with a spectacular view. It is well furnished and conveniently located, with a homely touch. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. We had enjoyed our stay very much.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Nel Guasto. The property is of very high standard and is beautifully located. We were also well looked after by the Owner's. We would certainly recommend it to anyone. Our tip would be do make sure you dont hire too big a car as the road up is very narrow

Spending at Podere Il Doccio proved itself to be one of the best holiday options we've ever taken. First and foremost there are Marina and Francesco - the owners - and their family. Unbelievably generous, kind and loving people. Then there is the property - beautiful. isolated, tranquil, inspiring and inducing peace of mind.

This is a lovely character villa in a beautiful Tuscan spot. The owners of the villa (Sergio and Stefano) are delightful and really contributed to our stay there with their local knowledge of the are, their fantastic Tuscan cooking and their warm welcome - knowing that if you need any help/advice they are always there. You do need a car if you are staying there but it is a super base to explore Florence, Siena and local towns such as San Gimignano. There are also lots of local markets and wine tasting venues to visit in this picturesque part of Italy. If staying here do book a table for the restaurant that is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday and be sure to order a pizza on Tuesday evening that Stefano will bring to your villa. You can also wash the food down with Villa Fabbroni wine at only 5 euros a bottle! Sergio and Stefano have struck the perfect balance between being there if you need them and yet letting you experience an independent holiday. Their dog Oscar is also a real character - so take time time to give him a pat...can't wait to see him again!
